I am really liking what I see so far in the TB game. He is holding his own, minus one iffy PI call. Is running in step with the TB receivers. I am thinking he didn't play (much, at all?) last week to get accustomed to the playbook. SK is a genius if this works out.

Williams started & I don't recall seeing him after the first few series. I'm thinking he might have blown another coverage or made a mistake we didn't see. Hmmmm

Glad he's out though.

Its just way too early for Brandon Williams to be thrown to the wolves. He will need way more reps, possibly another season or more, keep him as a nickel or dime back.

Just lazing around on one play is all it takes. Come on PP.

Looks like he just won the CB2 job. And a perfect way for B Williams to get reps - we just need to continue with the blow-outs and he can get lots of practice in the fourth quarter.

He won the #2 job today. Great to see. 2 picks by him & should've been 2 picks by PP21.

The thing i like is simon and Cooper both have experience at least. Cards dont need a stud cb2, they just need a guy that is going to be within tackling range of the receiver not getting boat raced like Brandon Williams...

Hell to the Yes.

Not saying he is going to the Pro Bowl but he appears to be a quality #2 CB.

It's too bad he wasn't ready to go last week or we'd probably be 2-0. Oh well...glad he's here now and hope he can keep it up!

Yes, and he does not have to be a Pro Bowler. Played solid and was Johnny on the spot with the picks, that is what we need at the position and now Williams can learn... thank you Keim!

Cooper's story is oddly similar to Williams. He started out as a wide receiver, but was moved to CB his senior year. He adapted amazingly well and was a seventh round pick by SF. He ran a 4.45 & 4.46 at the combine. He show well in preseason but was basically their last player cut. KC picked him up and he got a chance to play due injury. He was named their outstanding rookie and widely proclaimed to be a steal. He was was slated to start but nagging injuries and possibly some loss of confidence caused his performance to decline. Eventually the Chiefs tried him at corner but jumped at the chance to get something for him from the Cards.

He certainly is a temporary upgrade from Williams, but in the long run Williams has the potential to be better. Cooper still will have issues with fast receivers. That said his experience showed Sunday.

Gotta love this guy's humility. During the post game press conference, he said he didn't like the way he ended the game and still has alot to work on. Plus, I think the chemistry is there:

Very excited to see how this progresses.

Thanks for the write up, very interesting back ground. He doesn't have the burner speed that PP has, but has the size to measure up with taller receivers. We just need a serviceable CB with length, I think he fits the mold.
