People are reading too much into this. The story is about whether the next great CB is from a small school, like our last one. That's why there weren't these kind of stories about Rolle. The story isn't really comparing Dr. C and Aeneas. It's comparing where they came from.

Well, you don't really go in as a member of a particular team. The busts don't reflect any team, and the official bios list all the teams a member played for. A guy like Fred Dean's going in as a 49er and a Charger, and a Joe Montana is both a 49er and a Chief.

While any impartial observer would obviously identify Aeneas Williams as a Cardinal more than a Ram, he's both, and that's as it should be.

I just hope he gets in. He deserves it. I just wish he'd gotten his ring.

But it can be a problem when young players start hearing this stuff and buying into it before they even learn how much tougher the NFL is then college. Hopefully, DRC is mentally mature enough to where an article like this won't effect him, but when a young guy buys into his own hype it can be potential disaster for him.
