And, if they single cover those guys, I would hope that Leinart has the sense to throw it up there anyway.

Sure they can run it. But if a guy is saddled with 4.6 speed, he may have trouble getting open deep.

Our top three guys are terrific blowing down the sidelines and then stopping to out duel defenders for jump balls. But (with the possible exception of BJ) they lack the speed to beat their man deep.

It would be nice to have someone on our roster who can really scare defenses deep. It would make Fitz, Q and BJ more effective.
LeRon McCoy!

Also you can be certain that the former Pittsburgh coaches are aware of McCoy. He played at IUP which is only an hour from Pittsburgh.

I am going to make this as simple as possible

Anquan Boldin- 6'1 225lbs.
Larry Fitzgerald- 6'3 226lbs.
Bryant Johnson- 6'3 216lbs.

those are big measurements for a wr

Okay so using your point of reference (keeping it simple) we should resign BIG and he could learn to run fly routes...since SIZE is what apparently matters to you and catching ability and speed are secondary...okay... I think I have it now... thanks!

A fast guy stretches the field big receivers and big leapers are possession receivers, they can make the catch, but they aren't consistantly going to get behind the dbs and take it to the house. THAT MAKES THEM ABLE POSSESSION RECEIVERS---all i was implying in my first statement was that we can use them in a smashmouth type offense--its actually quite clear--not talking quantum physics here bud

oops i almost forgot the real third big guy
Leonard Pope 6'8 270

he isn't ourunning anyone but will make the catch because no one can get up to his level---that makes him a possession reciever

LeRon McCoy! .
Maybe.

But I'm greedy. I want more than just pure speed in my #4 or #5 blazer. I want my guy to be able to cut on a dime and be able to separate from defenders. This makes explosiveness and COD skills almost as important as blinding speed.

We need to see more of McCoy, Spurlock and others to know whether or not they're the complete package. Perhaps our new coaching staff can figure this out from watching tape or at the OTA's. But it may take training camp and preseason to really know what these guys can do - and that's after the draft.

Why do so many Cardinal fans eat their young?

birds...including cardinals of course are the cloest living relatives to dinasours...yes even closer than what we know as reptiles today...this may partially answer your questions...

by the way if one studies the teams that grimm was the ol coach...we should be so lucky as to have the results the teams had....we are addressing head on....finally one of the three "must" elements of winning.....RUN THE BALL.
