Kolb should be benched and everyone in the front office or coaching staff who advocated to trade for him should be fired.

Goddamit, I bet the Eagles also keep Reid for another year since he keeps trading away mediocre players for high draft choices. :lmao:

Derek Anderson is not better than Kolb (and Reid and the Eagles are not smiling at the moment with Vick's recent play), and Kolb is not the worst QB in the league

Why another Kolb thread from you? Serious, we get it. You think Kolb stinks. I think you are wrong, but go ahead make another post about it.

During our SB run we managed to stink up several fields worse than this with Warner at the helm. Heck, the Jets had a 34 point 2nd quarter against us back then.

We went to the SB that season because our division sucked...and the Eagles beat the Giants.

And we beat Atlanta, Carolina and Philadelphia. We'd have killed the Giants in NY, in Arizona, in key Largo. The Patriots were lucky they didn't make the SB or we'd have kicked their rears as well. We won all the rematches. The only reason we lost the SB was because Whiz and Grimm felt they owed the Rooney's and eased up the last 2 minutes.

I think Kolb CAN play well. Will he?

He got us a TD late in the game only to have it negated by a stupid "illegal hands to the face" penalty on Bridges.

It's not his fault the line protecting him sucks but he should adjust to that fact and get rid of the ball quicker...instead of taking sacks or panicking back there.

That might be the worst insult nickname in the league.

Disagree.

What do you know? You couldn't even get Rugby to the halftime meet. Poor guy stood right inside the doors leading to the meet and never got to see us. We may have to put Jersey in charge next season.

Derek Anderson is among the worst starting QBs of all-time. Certainly the front runner for worst current QB, especially with Alex Smith finding a pulse.

Dont get me wrong, I think Kolb stinks. Watching him is like watching a right handed Matt Leinart with a better personality, but Derek Anderson is in his own world when it comes to crappy QB play.

Nope. Tim Tebow was just named starter in Denver. And Sage Rosenfels is getting the nod in Miami.

So he's at least the 3rd-worst before I start looking at actual stats.

Per Pro Football Focus our offensive tackles are the worst in the NFL. Kolb is running for his life, give the kid a chance and a decent line. How about a new Offensive line coach and maybe a GM that can draft and sign some good tackles.

I think he is around middle of the pack with potential for improvement with time. He just has Cardinalitis, the result of bad coaching, poor offensive line support, and the general habits and attitudes that comes with being a Cardinal for an extended period of time. Look at ex cardinals like Thomas Jones and many others that got rid of their Cardinalitis once they left.

Nah, the job's Matt Moore's for the time being.
