Watched the last 2 Card's games on NFL Network replays and heard him doing the color.

First of all I thought it was David Puddy ( voice )from Seinfeld. Secondly, his commentary was bizarre, to say the least. Does he always make words up? Is this guy a local icon and revered, laughed at by most or somewhere in between?
He is amusing.

He is a dope. Someone must like him since he has been on the radio forever saying the same things over and over again.

Why should I? Same crap over and over. I once sat next to him few minutes with Wolfley at a car wash place as we both waited for our vehicles.

I was a very good football player and has a knack of of using colorful words to describe the play in the game. Most like him. A few don't I guess.

His broadcasting partner asked him to explain that one and Wolfley couldn't. He tried, but it was laughably incoherent. His partner finally said "never mind".

Is there such a thing as a list of " Wolfisms :. The Dolphins, for years, had Jim Mandich as their radio color guy and he created some of the most bizarre "isms" in football broadcasting history.

One of Jim Mandich's classics;

absolutely awful .... wouldn't be so bad if he didn't also take up radio space and just contained himself to the cardinals broadcasts

x2.

I wish Doug & Wolf was still on for my drive home as I get enough of Gambo's schtick out here on the east coast.

I think once Arizona packs up and moves back to the Mountain Time Zone where they belong, I should be able to catch most of their first hour in the mornings.

Go Cards!!!

So do I.

When I watch games on the Sunday ticket, I mute the sound & always listen to Wolf & Pasch...I think they are greatness!!!

Im a fan of his but I would understand why non Cardinal fans think he is a wack job. But he gets me fired up and I love his analogies and jargon.

If Lattimer from the Program grew old and started doing color commentary for a football team, Wolf is exaclty what I would expect him to sound like.
