Plan B's are good and all, because we all want to "Do Something!"
But you have to be really careful not to "do something" when any of the "somethings" you can do are worse than "do nothing."
To me, the best option I have seen is give the ball to Booker, Len, Archie, and Warren and let them play. We really are not in that bad of shape as far as a team that is rebuilding.
We have two guards who clearly have all-star potential.
We have a young center who defends and scores and could be special, much more than a role player.
We have a young SF that everyone here believes has all-star potential but is not nearly as close as Bledsoe and Knight.
We have a rookie 2 that was the best shooter in the draft. Who knows, because we have not ever seen him in a pro contest, but he will be fun to follow.
We have another young guard in Archie who could break out at any moment and we know that if he develops an outside shot, the sky is the limit.
Yup, if Bledsoe, Knight, PJ, Markieff and Chandler/Len can't close out games in the first half of the season; then you go to plan B. - Goodwin, Booker, TJ, Lauer (or?), Len, and give them big minutes and then decide who your going to deal in Feb. I'd say that .500 ball isn't even acceptable by then. They've got to come out fast.....fast, while cutting way down on turnovers.
