Plan B's are good and all, because we all want to "Do Something!"

But you have to be really careful not to "do something" when any of the "somethings" you can do are worse than "do nothing."

To me, the best option I have seen is give the ball to Booker, Len, Archie, and Warren and let them play. We really are not in that bad of shape as far as a team that is rebuilding.

We have two guards who clearly have all-star potential.
We have a young center who defends and scores and could be special, much more than a role player.
We have a young SF that everyone here believes has all-star potential but is not nearly as close as Bledsoe and Knight.
We have a rookie 2 that was the best shooter in the draft. Who knows, because we have not ever seen him in a pro contest, but he will be fun to follow.
We have another young guard in Archie who could break out at any moment and we know that if he develops an outside shot, the sky is the limit.

Yup, if Bledsoe, Knight, PJ, Markieff and Chandler/Len can't close out games in the first half of the season; then you go to plan B. - Goodwin, Booker, TJ, Lauer (or?), Len, and give them big minutes and then decide who your going to deal in Feb. I'd say that .500 ball isn't even acceptable by then. They've got to come out fast.....fast, while cutting way down on turnovers.

I am not even worried about it. Give the best players the job from day one. If it is a youngster, so be it. That includes the Chandler and Len battle.

Maybe trading Keef is plan B....idk.
Jordan Schultz @Schultz_Report
Hearing the Suns are trying to deal Markieff Morris, who has an affordable 8M/yr deal. He and Hornacek don't get along, plus Marcus is gone.

I guess David Lee was not of Plan B for the Suns.

ESPN sources say that the Celtics have agreed to send Gerald Wallace to the Warriors for David Lee

The doom and gloom around here is ridiculous.

You never really know what you have until you get the playoffs. All of the main players are 25 and under. I don't see how people can say what the extent of their career will be at this point.

Like life the journey is supposed to be the fun part. GS just reached the top of the mountain but as of July 1st they are starting the season over just like everyone else. Well they stay healthy and get the same bounced next year? Who knows? That is why they play the games.

This team is full of talented players who have yet to hit their prime and are on good contracts. (Bledsoe and Knight ... you could argue that they're underpaid.) Len has the skills, just needs to put it all together. Guys like Warren, Booker, and Goodwin should be fun to watch as well. And don't forget about Bogdanovic, who is playing really well over in Europe.

The Suns have a ton of young talent, no horrible contracts, and a bunch of upcoming draft picks. They are in really good shape and just lack a true "star," which a lot of other teams also lack. But Phoenix is in great shape everywhere else. I'd love to see them as the #8 seed next year, even if it means another mid 1st round pick.

Purely a guess, but I think the Suns are waiting for team(s) to come to them with a trade or find a bargain player. I'm not saying the Suns are not putting out feelers but I think the Suns want to be in an more advantageous position. The Suns do not want to have another fire sale like earlier this season like with Granger, Marcus and Bullock. As some have pointed out, the Suns would like to facilitate a trade and get a piece they want as a spinoff. This strategy could play out until the trade deadline.

Well we got a decent SG in Sonny Weems and a backup PG in Ronnie Price. We still have money under the cap so what else do we need? So far its good that we are not getting rid of our young guys would could develop.

Dallas is now going into complete rebuild mode. How about we trade for Dirk and go for it right now?

I don't see Cuban dealing the face of the franchise when he knows he probably won't get much for him anyway.

Besides why give up something for Dirk when we can just sign Amare so he can finish his career here?

I agree. I think Dirk will retire a Maverick.

Sad Steve Nash could not retire a Sun. However, it was clear he was near the end of his playing before he left Phoenix. I guess Nash wanted one more paycheck plus he thought he could still play.
