On Kendrell Bell

I think that you're overstating Kendrell Bell's performance. He had a great rookie season, but I think his third season (which you're referring to), looks a lot better on paper than it did at the time. I was living with a Steeler fan then, so I saw a lot of games.
The Steelers saw that Bell wasn't a good fit for their system. He was much more like Bertrand Berry. They tried converting him into a nickle pass rusher.
His 2001 season he was a beast; he was average in 2003, and he showed his true colors once he went to Kansas City. It's hard to argue that the Steelers let go of a star LB in his prime.
