Is there a scenerio where Dansby walks after this season?

On Kendrell Bell

I think that you're overstating Kendrell Bell's performance. He had a great rookie season, but I think his third season (which you're referring to), looks a lot better on paper than it did at the time. I was living with a Steeler fan then, so I saw a lot of games.

The Steelers saw that Bell wasn't a good fit for their system. He was much more like Bertrand Berry. They tried converting him into a nickle pass rusher.

His 2001 season he was a beast; he was average in 2003, and he showed his true colors once he went to Kansas City. It's hard to argue that the Steelers let go of a star LB in his prime.

That's one way to look at it. The other way is that they let the players go that wanted too much money. Emmons, Holmes, Kirkland, Porter, Green all fit the bill.

I sincerely hope that the Cards are not in a position to draft that particular player.

*I misread what you typed..

Yeah, hopefully we're not in that position. I wouldn't rule out a trade up
