Is there any other way to a victory on Sunday?

This game isn't tough to analyze. Like most games, it will be all about turnovers and big plays. If we get more, or stay even, we'll almost certainly post a W. Honestly, I think all the analysis that goes on about this running game or that pass rush, etc, is mostly a way to kill time until Sunday. Every week, if you make fewer mistakes than your opponent, you'll win a ton of games.

I tend to agree with you in most cases... However, in this case, if Warner is protected, our chances of winning sky rocket as we will keep the Giants offense off the field.
Likewise, if the Giants put up 200 yards on the ground, their chances of winning sky rocket...

Welcome. Yes, this is a huge game... Probably the biggest game the Cards have ever played in the new stadium.
Correction - the Cards are not capable of taking for "6 + 1 on every down"... Wish that were the case...
That actually are a ball control offense and eat up the clock via the passing game. Aside from Breaston - the #3 receiver, they really do not possess a true, "take it the house from anywhere on the field" threat...
Their running game is among the worst in the NFL, so you guys really only need to pin your ears back and get to Warner... You do that and this game is yours...If not, it could be a very long day for the G-men... ;)

Really? My mistake, I guess that's just a function of only having watched one full Cards game when they played the Jets. I just tend to think of Boldin/Fitzgerald as the types of playmakers who can take it to pay-dirt.

I agree, if the pressure isn't there on Warner, the Giants will be struggling all day. The Giants have 1 sack in the last 2 weeks I believe.

I think Cards fans will be surprised by the Giants offense though. They aren't flashy, but they score points in bunches when the running game is on, and Eli is capable of running up 300 yards passing on a injured (Rod Hood) and inexperienced (Rogers-Cromartie) Cards secondary. If Gilbride doesn't look to test the Cards corners I'd be extremely surprised. Could be a big day in the making for Plaxico.

Looking forward to a great game!

Good post!
Our Defenses sound the same, prone to give up the big play at times.
I think, besides Kurts arm we MUST keep the penalties down...MUST! Especially the stupid false starts in critical 3rd and short situations...ugghhh that kills me.

Completely agree on the penalties, that's a good way to get yourselves beat.

Not sure how the Cards have been this year as I've only seen one of their games, but the Giants have been pretty mistake free all season. Occasional holding penalties but aside from that, not much to complain about. That trend will have to continue or they're in for a long day against this offense.

I've met very few Giants fans on the net who weren't insufferable blowhards. You seem pretty cool though.

I generally don't care for your team. But, I always want them to beat Dallas and I greatly enjoyed you guys knocking off the Pats.

Thanks for the kind words!

I agree, some Giants fans act just like Pats fans, which irritates me to no end! I live up here in Boston and it's painful to be around such an arrogant bunch of football fans.

I actually like the Cardinals a lot. Hate the 9'ers due to that BS game in 2004 playoffs and other history, and boy do I hate the living **** outta Seattle for obvious reasons...

You're right to root against the Cowboys, hate that team more than anything.

Stop Jacobs. Pressure Eli. Protect Kurt. Send three, four or, dare I say, five wide outs and see what the Giants D has for them. Swap out Hightower, Edge and Arrington all day. Don't commit stupid penalties. Force turnovers.

Get up early. Don't play prevent in the third and fourth quarters.

GO CARDS!!!
