Is there nothing finer than seeing a hated division rival get embarrassed on national TV?

Rams are in a terrible spot both from football sense and non football sense.

Their stadium is going to cost 6 billion instead of 2; billion they planned for. PSL sales are not good. And it it much cheaper to go to Lakers or Dodgers game. The fan base has not been strong even when they are winning. Plus they are in a bickering fight with Charges for LA.

On the football side, they have no OL, no RBs, bad front seven outside of HOF Aaron Donald. Cooks is one more concussion from retirement. Their QB has a whooping 34 ints plus fumbles in last 16 games. No first round picks until 2022. Cap space is mis managed. New deal for Goff will start next year with a cap hit of 34 million dollars. Gurely has started fading. They need to pay Jalen Ramsey like 20 million dollars a year.

I am the first to admit that they looked invincible until the Super Bowl. In a mere 10 months their future looks abysmal. If you are loyal Rams fan since 2017 , time to look for a new team.

The Raiders still own LA. Talk to the Raiders fans and they tell you they will never be Rams fans. The Raiders can expect have of their season ticket sales will be from LA County residents who drive to Vegas for games.

The Davis family will get the last laugh. As much as the NFL didnt want to do it, they should have pushed for the Raiders to be paired with the Rams.

Even better to me is watching the fan base of a 3-7-1 team gloat over the downfall of a division rival. You know, because there's absolutely NO cautionary tale to be gleaned from the Rams.

It might be wise to watch and learn rather than watch, laugh and point. But then, we are humans after all. Terrible species.
Amen. Especially since we're a team whose offseason model was essentially "find someone who coughed in a urinal near Sean McVay once."

The Cardinals went from penthouse to outhouse quickly under Arians.

I wont bet against McVay, but Goff is a trash QB. The rumor has it that he has gotten real involved in the LA social life.

Lamar Jackson is where he is in a large part to the Ravens and how they decided to support him. So many teams would have forced him to conform to their idea of what he should be instead of completely rebuilding their entire offense to support what he does best. Other teams should be taking note of how success comes from playing to your young QBs strengths vs forcing them to overcome their weaknesses.

schutd, I'll gleefully do it every time. What the Seahawks, Rams and Niners (and eagles) eat don't make me crap. I'm an unapologetically, rabid fan of this team and that's the way I approach it. You think we got any sympathy from the fanbases of the NFC West teams when we were the league's rag dolls last year? Or as Krang mentioned, during our descent from penthouse to outhouse under Arians. I'm sure there were plenty of guffaws and knee slapping when we were kicked in the azz on prime time last year by Denver. Of course we have business to attend to as an organization if we don't want to go down that path again, and can as you say, learn from mistakes made by other teams, but what am I supposed to do? Come on here and shed tears that the poor lambs were a punching bag Monday night? Ef all of em, and I say that as kindly as I possibly can. I'm not passive when people pop off about the Cards and I have less than zero empathy for any team or fan base of any team other than the Arizona Cardinals. Maybe it's all the abuse I've personally suffered for 42 years or maybe I'm just that bad of a person. IDK. It is what it is fam.

Nah, we can watch and laugh if we choose or not (I won't because the Rams still have a very talented team sans Goff who I do laugh at) since our 'leaning' carries no significance... Keim is the one who should learn

Two totally different QBs, because Kyler is a passer which can run and Lamar is a runner which can pass, meaning a emphasis on what they see first. I think Lamar is phenomenal and never gave the guy enough credit even after the draft, because whatever he did in the off season, he's to me is the biggest turnaround ever in the NFL as a passer, this meaning he worked his ass off to become a better passer and it shows. The Ravens are going to be tough to beat the next five years and then it will probably be back to the QB well. It's not that Lamar will not further his passing skills to be a pocket guy later but there are only so many hits the human body can take just like Cam because he takes on tacklers but just maybe he can survive longer like Randall Cunningham... Kyler, I can see him playing into this mid thirties

To each his own.KM playing into his mid-30`s because you think he is so elusive and smart to dodge the big hits...….Talk about having blinders on.As for Lamar and the big hit IMO the running will taper off as more QB development happens.Learning when to slide or run out of bounds more often will come with more experience.Lamar has been better at knowing when to go OOB or slide this season.I think the Coaching staff will continue to emphasize that.I would hope KK tells KM the same. But in the heat of the moment these guys are competitors and damn the torpedoes full speed ahead.

I do not have blinders on. Lamar has a lot more Cam in him and will take on tacklers way more than Kyler does which makes it a logical conclusion about his playing longevity

to me its the logical conclusion that the smaller guy running has a bigger chance of getting hurt than the bigger guy.
Of course any hit at ant time can be the injury hit.Not every smaller guy is Barry Sanders and not every guy is Jimmy Brown. As for Lamar he is learning to slide and go OOB more so this year.Time will tell but he has been durable only missing 1 game in 5 years (3 years at Louisville 1 game missed.None missed in the NFL.

History suggests otherwise. The guy that takes the most big hits is the most likely to get injured. That is why guys like RG3, Luck and Cam have had issues with injuries and a guy like RW hasn't missed a single game.

It's how you run and expose yourself and it's not simply being 'smaller' due to just looking at your height but how your weight is distributed. Kyler has a compact frame. In defense of Lamar and Kyler, one might argue that actually it's traditional pocket QBs which are more acceptable to injury while getting hit in the pocket as a stationary figure with their feet planted. Now if you are talking about size in regards to playing middle LB or strong safety, I would agree you because you are usually enacting your will on another to stop a moving force

Well said. Regaling in the mediocrity of others seems strange.

He just posted here a few days ago.

He’s a good dude.

Yes he is and I liked many of his takes , but from what I remember he used to post here with more frequency after a Cardinals defeat against his beloved team

Still wondering where is @HeHasRosen
He claimed to be a Cardinals fan but he vanished after the trade of his hero

Cam isnt smaller! LOL

When I watch Lamar, I see him take 4-5 hits a game running with the football.

I see Murray take.....ZERO hits.

Almost every time Murray has run, you can clearly see yards he doesnt take because he avoids hits. If he were a RB we'd be talking about how soft he is, but as a QB it's just smart.

Lamar is not a first overall pick. Murray is. Murray better be better than a better version of Lamar.

Lol. It’s like some of you guys don’t understand talent. Whatever pick they are attached to them and represents their value to infiniti and beyond! Tom Brady was a sixth round pick. According to your logic almost every QB in the value should be better than him. Sometimes really talented players fall in the draft. Doesn’t diminish their actual talent or ability once they start playing. Draft slot becomes meaningless, on the field of play, once they set a foot on said field.

Yes, actually humiliating one of your division rivals is better than watching them get embarrassed by another team.

Hypothetically
