After another big week of spring sports' action, it's time to let you, the reader, vote on who you believe deserves the Rockford Register Star's high school Athlete of the Week honor in our weekly poll.
You can go to rrstar.com or vote on the poll below, and we ask that you only vote once per day.
More area sports: Hononegah shows off its new field, and its same-old dominance in NIC-10 softball opener
The poll will close at 5 p.m. Thursday this week, and the winner will be announced after that.

This week's nominees are:
Alex Alberstett, Hononegah volleyball
Alberstett had nine kills and zero errors in a 25-10, 25-5 win over Freeport to move the Indians to 8-0 in the conference. He also had 2 kills, 1 block assist, and 2 digs in a balanced 25-19, 25-21 win over Guilford that gave Hononegah sole possession of first place in the conference. No Hononegah player had more than four kills in that balanced win.
Caden De Jong and Diego Robles Sanchez, Freeport tennis
Freeport’s No. 1 doubles team edged Crystal Lake’s Bavel Muktar and Nazar Muktar 10-7 to help the Pretzels sweep all three doubles matches and win 3-2 over Crystal Lake to take the title in a six-team meet Saturday with Crystal Lake, Belvidere North, Sterling Newman, Rockford Keith and Algonquin Jacobs.
Kade Girton, Oregon baseball
Girton went 3-for-3 with 4 RBIs during a 9-0 Oregon win over Stillman Valley last week. Girton also had 3 RBIs in a 10-run win over Winnebago last week.
Brooke Halverson, Oregon softball
Halverson went 3-for-3 with a walk and a run scored, and she also pitched four scoreless innings, allowing one hit and no walks with six strikeouts during the Hawks' 6-0 win over Forreston on Saturday.
Caitlind Maines, Durand softball
Maines went 3-for-4 at the plate with a 3-run homer to kickstart last Monday's game against East Dubuque. She later had a 3-run double and an RBI single, finishing with seven RBIs.
Ryden McCauley, Boylan baseball
The senior outfielder went 4-for-5 with two walks and one hit by pitch in two games, scoring five runs and driving in three.
Logan Nelson, Polo baseball
Nelson was 2-for-3 with a home run and 4 RBIs and also pitched 1 ⅔ innings of scoreless relief in Polo’s 8-2 victory over Orangeville.
Rachael Setterstrom, Lena-Winslow softball

Setterstrom, a first-team All-Stater last year, was a solid leadoff hitter in Tuesday's 9-1 win over Forreston. She went 4-for-4 with four runs scored and three steals.
Natalyia Stallings, Guilford track and field
Stallings won the triple jump with a flight of just over 35-feet last Thursday during a NIC-10 triangular meet, and then on Friday she won the triple jump again, and helped the two sprint relays to top-three finishes at the ultra-competitive Yorkville Invitational.
Berkeley Stenstrom, Guilford soccer
Stenstrom had four goals during Guilford's 7-0 win over Jefferson in girls soccer last Thursday. Azul Martinez added two goals, and Rihanna Gusner chipped in with another for the Vikings.
Aiden Wild, Lena-Winslow baseball
Wild had four hits and three RBIs and drove in the game-winning run as Lena-Winslow edged Forreston 8-7 in eight innings to tie for the NUIC North baseball lead after Forreston had tied the game with three runs in the top of the seventh.
