Not until the ball is thrown . It may make a safety drop a bit deeper but Imo that's not going to help you much. I have no problem with taking him out. Dude can't catch.

than why have him on the team at all? If you believe all of the above, that's a massive indictment on Keim, who went into the season knowing he had a completely useless WR taking up a roster spot for an already incredibly suspect WR corps.

I agree, I thought for sure he would be gone .

It’s not the player, but the logic, that I have a problem with. Nelson sucks. But to say that he’s only in packages when we aren’t behind defies reason.

The franchise - Here's my problem:

During the past few years, the Cardinals build a pretty explosive offense and kickass defense. (ST is a problem).

Major obstacles to reaching the playoffs have been injuries, a starting QB a #2 CB, improved OL and ST's.

Action Plan: Address the roster and injury issues and stay the course.

Instead, the Cardinal brain trust replaces its entire coaching staff and its aggressive offense and defense systems with a more passive approach that borders on "beige."

Why is that? Did Michael B and Steve K get bored with success?

I know, it's early...But talk is cheap, and what I've failed to see are sound offensive and defensive systems with exceptional players operating effectively therein from play to play to play.

It's as though a giant brick wall has been erected between us and the playoffs.

I think that you are forgetting that the past few years the Cardinals had the oldest roster in the league. At some point the Cardinals had to replace all of those older players. After the window clearly closed last season and the old coaching staff moved on, it was time to rebuild with a younger roster and new staff.

After only one game, 'appears' should be taken for its full definition... chances are we are a lot better (I did not say playoff caliber) or maybe worse if the coach loses the locker room later but I think the talent on this team knows the situation and are under no illusion including Fitzgerald, and I do not see Wilks losing this team at least in his first stint
