Thank you for the fine compliment. I would enjoy to have an avatar of some kind, but have no way to determine one for my personal use.

I have not come to a conclusion to this speculation as of yet. I have studied rookie QB's and running backs changing teams and WR drafted high. I still have much to do on my list.

I expect that by Augusts end I will have a valid conclusion to draw as to our probability to win the Super Bowl. I still have many more models to analyze.

For now I draw no conclusions, just fodder for other fans to consume. It is what makes for good forum procedures.

I expect that by August's end nobody will be interested in your silly Santa Claus is a Billy Goat "statistical analysis" and will be more interested in the reality of Cardinals football.

Santa has a beard.
Billy Goats have beards.
Santa Claus is a Billy Goat.

Classic example of Faulty Logic, though it seems you want to claim it as your own. Nazaquadarian Logic Loops, perhaps?

That was my thought from about his 2nd thread which was to "suggest" how to better run the site; re:stickys. I'd hate to falsely condemn a noob, but the act is thin!

I don't know....I don't smell it.

NEM wouldn't waste this much time with an alter ego. He'd tell us that we are getting better on paper....but we'll find a way to mess it up. That we always do.

The weird usage of stats is like Vikesfan....................it's weird though.

The fact that this guy thinks the NFL drafts official name is "mock draft" is reason for concern.

Other possibilities to ponder as Super Bowl components:

- Percent of players on roster who prefer Hot & Sour over Won Ton.

- Ditto Chocolate vs. Vanilla.

- Percentages of players born under various astrological signs.

- Innies vs. Outies.

- Facial Hair vs. No Facial Hair

- Number of Bubbas and Jim Bobs on roster

- Number of guys whose first names end in "ie" or "y". (i.e. Ronnie, Jimmy, Tommy, Robbie, Brucey etc.

I'm sure there's a positive or negative correlation in there somewhere

Give the guy a break D-Dogg...

Its something different to add to this board and if he wants to spend the time needed to come to his conclusions, so be it...

Don't get me wrong; I'm loving his posts. Very entertaining. But like deserves like.

How do you answer a silly question? With a silly answer, of course...

I have taken note that six of the last seven teams to be able win the Super Bowl did so as a new starter at running back.

Only in year 2003 did no Super Bowl winner have a new running back as from the earlier year.

It is good? Yes?

Well damn, we should have won the Super Bowl last year as Arrington was a new starter. What happened?

That's why RB is the easiest position in the NFL to replace and you usually don't break the bank for them. What is wierd is that I believe this to be true, but I STILL think Edge was one of the best signings this franchise has ever had.

i figure you don't realize that "they seldom don't lie" is like a hedging negative (rather than a double negative 'cuz "seldom" is not really a full blown negative). in other words what you've typed is that facts often lie. the opposite of what you wanted to say (I think).

Facts are what they are. Indisputable. We may use facts to draw conclusions which may be right or wrong. It would seem facts may only be from the past as there is no guarantee there will be a tomorrow. The sun may not rise in the east and set in the west tomorrow. It might just explode.

I don't know who NEM is (I rarely visit Cards' board), but I have noticed that when our noob gets irritated, his English improves:

http://www.arizonasportsfans.com/vb/showpost.php?p=988421&postcount=32

Also, as soon as personal questions are asked, ie, "Where are you from?" he vanishes to a different thread.
He may not be NEM, but one thing is certain, he is not foreign, to this country, nor this message board.

The Punjabi Happy Birthday wishes were a nice touch, however.

excellent sleuthing. as much as i've been entertained by him and his threads (i mean c'mon people, his three threads are receiving the most hits), your detective work has exposed him. i no longer find him entertaining.
