I have not come to a conclusion to this speculation as of yet. I have studied rookie QB's and running backs changing teams and WR drafted high. I still have much to do on my list.

I expect that by Augusts end I will have a valid conclusion to draw as to our probability to win the Super Bowl. I still have many more models to analyze.

For now I draw no conclusions, just fodder for other fans to consume. It is what makes for good forum procedures.

I expect that by August's end nobody will be interested in your silly Santa Claus is a Billy Goat "statistical analysis" and will be more interested in the reality of Cardinals football.

I don't know....I don't smell it.

NEM wouldn't waste this much time with an alter ego. He'd tell us that we are getting better on paper....but we'll find a way to mess it up. That we always do.

Other possibilities to ponder as Super Bowl components:

- Percent of players on roster who prefer Hot & Sour over Won Ton.

- Ditto Chocolate vs. Vanilla.

- Percentages of players born under various astrological signs.

- Innies vs. Outies.

- Facial Hair vs. No Facial Hair

- Number of Bubbas and Jim Bobs on roster

- Number of guys whose first names end in "ie" or "y". (i.e. Ronnie, Jimmy, Tommy, Robbie, Brucey etc.

I'm sure there's a positive or negative correlation in there somewhere

i figure you don't realize that "they seldom don't lie" is like a hedging negative (rather than a double negative 'cuz "seldom" is not really a full blown negative). in other words what you've typed is that facts often lie. the opposite of what you wanted to say (I think).

Facts are what they are. Indisputable. We may use facts to draw conclusions which may be right or wrong. It would seem facts may only be from the past as there is no guarantee there will be a tomorrow. The sun may not rise in the east and set in the west tomorrow. It might just explode.
