Our beloved Cardinals are at the RCA Dome in Indianapolis. Denny's boys have won 2 games all year and can put a lock on the #1 pick. Peyton Manning and the Colts are 15-0 and on the verge of only the 2nd undefeated season in NFL history. What do you want to happen?

Have the Cards get their butts kicked, ensuring that we get Leinart, or Bush, or some other stud....

or

Have the Cards BEAT the Colts, crushing the dream of an undefeated season, and have the Cards always be remembered as the team that spoiled the dream and saved the '72 Dolphins....

it could come down to this!

Wow.. Sounds like the same situation when we beat the Vikings from going to the playoffs.. We had the #1 locked up but won and dropped down....

Cards will have more than 2 victories and Indy will not be undefeated. Nice story though.

I never want to see a team purposely lose......so if it costs us Leinart I'd live with it. I wouldn't even want the type of players that COULD tank a game.

the more I think about this, the more I think it WILL happen and it will be
the next great "Cardinal Curse"...the one to carry us for the next 100 years...

The Cards will beat the undeafeated Colts and lose the guy in the draft that could have saved the orginization! Whoever it is....whatever guy we lose out on, because we ended the Colts dream season, will go on to be a HOFer and Cards fans will forever curse the day we "ended the dream"....

I hope Indy LOSES before they get to the Cards....I see a nightmare in the making........

Who do we beat? Seriously? The ONLY win I see is San Francisco -- Maybe....it's on the road and you know what that means.....Houston?
not at Houston. These 2 are our only hope to win, and they are both on the road....

Indy: Do they lose this weekend to Cincy? --- Pittsburgh is at home, so I think they win that one. I guess Seattle has a good shot to knock them off just before us since that one is at Seattle.

I gotta level with all you folks.. I think I've gone to the "darkside" I think J.J. is playing better & even the O.L. is marginally better, but I am not sure we will beat Houston let alone Indy... :(

I do not see them purposely lose. They just get their butts handed to them against Indy. Indy not only runs but they pass and have a defense. Also a coach. Our best hope is Houston. I think Warner is in sync at this time and if we get any sort of running game what so ever we could win a couple of games if Warner starts. DG's decision at this point is who will start next year? If Warner continues to start I think DG will try and keep him and let Josh walk. If he brings back Josh I have no idea what he is thinking. Looking at the QB's available next year the pickings are slim unless we could swing some sort of major trade.

The injuries are getting so bad we need to start a 14th man foundation.

I hate for the Cards to lose period, but I am so sick and tired of us not drafting a franchise QB that if it came down to one more loss gets us Matt Leinart then so be it. Because if it comes down to this, then that means we will be 2-13 going into that final game. If it comes to that then for the good of the team I would rather see us lose so we can get Leinart. I really hate saying that, but we need a franchise QB badly, and whether the team finishes 2-14 or 3-13 to me doesn't matter. A record that poor is just plain pitiful period.

Frankly, I'm a little tired of moral victories. I don't worry about us losing the draft spot, but I don't want to be the team that beat the team. Just one more reason to be a laughingstock.

Yee haw, we won a game. Big whoop, we *should* have won a ton this year. This season of football holds no more joy for me.

I would like to see the Cardinals get the #1 pick overall just for the entertainment value of it all.

Who would the Cardinals pick? Leinart or Bush?

Would the Cardinals trade down to avoid paying out the absurd money the #1 pick of the draft gets?

Would players begin the gamesmanship of I am not playing for the Cardinals.

How long would the Cardinals hold on to the pick? Draft day trade where we get hosed again?

The possibilities are almost endless.
