Branden Kleen had a podcast reviewing the front office guys, and he lumped them into two groups. One group is Ishbia tied guys. The other is development oriented guys. Which is strange since we are in win now mode and trading everything we can for veterans. Maybe the G League team, and this new contingent of developmental guys is a change in strategy? Maybe not. We have to see how this plays out with the draft, free agency, trades, etc.

Kleen went over how during JJ's term the coaches and assistants have leaned heavily on NBA experienced guys. Under Monty's term at least two of the assistants to Monty became head coaches.

I'm afraid of our future, I understand he thinks he's doing the best for the future of the franchise but at the same time does he know what he's doing? Is he just too involved with everything?

A good owner will learn. Eventually, he needs to turn the reins over to the GM to run the team. I'm not sure James Jones is that guy anymore.

Also, no one has ever said Ishbia isn't smart. He WILL make mistakes, but he should learn from them.

These new front office hires are all about structure.
