This is awesome!

Thanks to the Cards, too, for not gouging us. I still can't believe the best seats were only $75 a piece.

i believe in my 30 years covering the cardinals that the cardinals have a sold out season. holy cow cards fan. this bigger than huge. el muy muy muy mucho grande to the 100th power. i can just see the bidwills doing the dos-e-dow. this brings a tear to my eye. not to mention that the cardinals probally will not have a black out game.

I'd say its a definite at this point. With so few tickets remaining, even if they somehow go through the opposing fans (which isn't going to happen) or the tickets sold to the players and their families (usually a limited amount) or the single game tickets, a sponsor would more than likely buy the remainder of the tickets to put the game on TV.

Imagine the people that work in the Cards ticket office. Tomorrow will be the first day no one gets assigned the job of selling season tickets. Thats got to be pretty wierd.

I have mixed emotions about this..
It's great that the Cards are going to be packing em in now, but sad that 90 percent of them are little fairweather fan biz-natches. :(

Apparently most of it was relatively temporary work, and was described as that in the first place, from what I hear.
