Penn St. BOT just announced Paterno and Graham Spanier are out. Hard to argue against their decision. It's the right move.
Watching on espn..Cops are starting to show up on campus. Precautionary measures, maybe?
agreed.I've seen a lot of students angry and running around on TV. Hopefully it doesn't get out of hand. If it does, they need to consider either cancelling or postponing the game on Saturday. They don't need the student section rioting there.
No morals whatsoever, disgusting. Football is more important than humanity at Penn State, I guess. It's still a huge PR stunt, Penn State hid this for 8 friggin years and never did anything about it, the only reason why they're out is due to the media coverage. Pathetic...
Wow...That's absolutely insane. They also mentioned Sandusky still had an office at Penn and was there just a week ago? I don't know how someone could live with themselves knowing what he did, and then to literally just turn your back as if nothing happened. This all could've been prevented had someone been an actual human being, but peoples reputations were more important, really sad.Sandusky was investigated by campus police and local law enforcement for showering with a boy in 1998, admitted to wrongdoing, but not charged or convicted - just told "Don't shower with boys again."
Paterno, Spanier, and others would have known about this back then and it is likely why Sandusky "decided" to retire after one more year of coaching.
Makes their future inaction even more alarming when Sandusky is seen molesting a boy in the same showers 4 years later.
And some people want to treat Joe Pa like he is some kind of victim in all of this?
