My i-tunes never seems to add the files that I'm wanting it to.

When I go to File -> add file to playlist and then add the song, it doesnt show up. This happens moreso when I try to add movies. I understand that some movies need to be formatted into whatever itunes is, but even those movies dont show.

Am I doing something wrong?

How do you all add stuff to your i-tunes?

I have a 50.00 MP3 player with a 2 GB memory chip that straps to my arm. The thing has never failed me once

Drag and drop

What he said. Make the iTunes window small enough, where you can have a windows explorer window open as well. Drag and drop the file into iTunes. If it does not work, the file is either not in the right format, or corrupted.

Thanks.

Also, when you are browsing the web and using i-tunes at the same time, does it every get choppy? Like the music doesnt come out fluidly, only until the page is fully loaded. It's really starting to piss me off.

That sounds more like an OS/memory issue.

How much memory is on the machine?

almost a gig (i think?) - i've noticed that if i reboot my comp, that generally helps. or if i start itunes first, before any other programs. that usually helps.

What version of iTunes. Is your iPod connected when you are having these problems?
