Maybe somebody can repost it for you, or direct you to. It was long and went in great detail.
Short version Red did not want to spend money on quality FAs or front office staff and DG wanted him to. Since DG is interested in winning a SB not having a job he resigned.

DG turned down Jax. DG would only go to a team where he had control or he trusted those in control (SF and Walsh). That is why he picked the Cards over say the Raiders and Jax. Great coaches just don't take any job look at Parcells waiting for the right opportunity.

The Vikes would already be in LA if they didn't have an ironclad lease. If there is no new stadium by 2011 the Vikes will probably move then.
Only the lease has kept the Vikes in Minne. Red is only interested in profit he paid 200 mil for the team and as soon as someone gives him 600 mil he will sell. LA offered 600 mil (Young group) but the lease stopped the sale.

Because you just implied that you don't like the Vikings, because their coach/GM/management/non-Green-selected players all suck. That seems to me that you're not, in fact, a Vikes' fan, insomuch as you just have a fixation on Dennis Green. That's all.

This is ludicrous, because I am able to objectively analyze my team I am not a fan of that team?
I am a Vikings fan not cheerleader I don't see the world through purple coloured glasses.

I never said I don't like the Vikes In fact my criticisms exist because I do like the Vikes and I want them to be on top like they were under DG and Bud Grant. I said I don't like Red's Thrift Plan which cost us DG. I don't like not having a real GM. I don't like Tice making player decisions and being coach.
I said these things would prevent us from winning. And I was right.

Being realistic I think shows more love for something then being unrealistic. If your kid sucks at school and you are all nice to him and think that he will make it to University because of that - it ain't gonna happen. You have to realistically see where the kid is failing and get on his ass to make sure he improves in those areas.


As for the DG thing. I have explained this in several posts. He was/is treated unfairly by the media and fans in Minnesota. The lies about him are incredible I can make a list and debunk each one. In the interests of justice I want to see him stick it these people. It's just like watching a movie you want to see the bad guys get it. If they had not lied and lied and lied about him and visciously attacked him (some of it racial) then I wouldn't care. But because of this I would love to see him stick it these people. Doesn't that make sense? Read my tagline.

If someone did someone who did a lot for you dirt wouldn't you want the guy to get the last laugh.


Apparently lots of people have 2 or more favourite teams. I never did and am against the concept. But alas now I have a 2nd favourite team - whatever team DG is coaching. I hope he as success but this success doesn't cost the Vikes a SB or playoff win or playoffs or wins in any way. But that leaves a lot of wiggle room for me to cheer for DG's team. If he had been treated right and fairly in Minne instead of being libeled repeatedly and then lynched I wouldn't give a crap about where he went or what he did.

Poor little you. You know you called me a racist repeatedly. You are Guilty as charged. You came into a public forum and exposed yourself. If you weren't so paranoid, life would be easier for you. The remedy is for you to stop ranting at people and try enjoying this forum, instead of using it as your attack podium. You turn every discussion into an argument and do your best to take the enjoyment out of the exercise with your extreme viewpoints. It's just a game, not life and death. Everyone is entitled to their opinions, including you, but once you impose your skewed beliefs on the rest of us, you are exceeding the bounds of decency. I'm done with him. I didn't make it up. I am not delusional. It is way too personal to be here. I think you would remember when someone used an incendiary term like " racist " on you. Believe what you want. I don't need to prove anything to him. He knows and is trying to cover his butt. Let's put it this way. I reported one of the offending posts ( the last of the 3 ), calling me, a racist, to the moderator. As far as going back and publishing his "quotes", that is anti forum. I don't think anyone wants to follow some personal argument , as entertaining as it might seem. Done. Over. Finis. I'm not going down to his level anymore.
