Here is how a three-round 2025 NFL mock draft turned out for the Jacksonville Jaguars after the team made nine free-agent signings this past week.

When it comes to roster building, the draft and free agency go hand-in-hand. What happens during the NFL's free agency frenzy can have a big impact on how the team approaches the NFL draft.

Under new GM James Gladstone, the Jaguars are in the process of reshaping their roster. That was evident when they made nine free-agent additions on the first day. Gladstone said his goal was to raise the floor of the roster through free agency, while with 10 draft picks this year, there will be plenty of opportunities for the Jaguars to further add starting-caliber talent to this roster.

"We're going to have to have some spots that are actually open for [draft picks] to insert," Gladstone said. "So [adding] a veteran at this point could be just standing in the way. We're going to allow these rookies to get a chance to get out on the field and help us this coming fall."

  2. T/G Chuma Edoga
  3. C Robert Hainsey
  4. CB Jourdan Lewis
  5. RG Patrick Mekari
  6. QB Nick Mullens
  7. TE Johnny Mundt
  8. S Eric Murray
  9. TE Hunter Long

So, taking into account the free-agent signings that have been made, what might a mock draft for the Jaguars look like now? Using Pro Football Focus' mock draft simulator, here is how things turned out--and I made sure to go heavy at one big position of need that has not yet been addressed.

Pick 5: Mason Graham, IDL, Michigan

This pick was popular before free agency and is even more so now. The Jaguars biggest need at the moment is along the defensive line and Graham is the best defensive tackle in this year's draft. He generated 34 pressures, five sacks, and was PFF's top interior run defender in 2025.

Pick 36: Jayden Higgins, WR, Iowa State

This is still a position of need for the Jaguars. While there are options on the roster already in terms of who could step into that No. 2 receiver role, but it's not clear either who that player will be, so adding competition should continue to be on Gladstone's radar.

Higgins is primarily a boundary receiver but has slot experience as well--which is an important element in Liam Coen's offense. He has totaled over 2,000 receiving yards between the last two seasons, and has been a reliable target, catching 67% of his passes at roughly 15 yards per catch.

Pick 70: Jordan Burch, DL, Oregon

This is a position that needs two or three new additions to the mix. Burch has had steady production the last three seasons, averaging 33 pressures per year during that span, along with grading out well as a run defender by PFF's metrics. He's also versatile, having played up and down the defensive front at Oregon, a skill-set that Anthony Campanile will put to good use.

Pick 88: Jonah Savaiinaea, IOL, Arizona

Free agency provided needed stability to the offensive line, but depth, particularly along the interior, is still a need. Savaiinaea played both right and left tackle spots in 2024, but he does have nearly 1,000 career snaps at right guard as well. This past season, he was one of PFF's higher-graded pass-blockers, allowing four sacks and 15 pressures over 478 pass-blocking snaps.
