Jaguars sign QB Glennon to back up Minshew

The Jacksonville Jaguars added a veteran backup to incumbent starter Gardner Minshew on Friday by signing quarterback Mike Glennon. The 30-year-old journeyman has appeared in 29 games with four teams since the 2013 season, passing for 5,163 yards with 36 touchdowns and 20 interceptions. "Mike is entering his eighth season in the NFL and will bring vital experience into our quarterback room and make us a better football team," Jaguars head coach Doug Marrone said in a statement.
