According to sources close to Indiana, outgoing Hoosiers coach Mike Davis has expressed an interest in ASU, but Davis also said he won't openly campaign for any job.

According to multiple sources among Arizona State boosters and officials, the Sun Devils have targeted Pitt coach Jamie Dixon as their No. 1 candidate. Athletic director Lisa Love is expected to formally ask Pitt AD Jeff Long this week whether she can speak to Dixon. There has been talk since last fall that Pitt would extend Dixon's contract, but that has yet to happen. It's not clear how a disappointing loss to Bradley might affect negotiations for a new deal at Pitt.

Take this for what it's worth.. I can't see Dixon leaving Pittsburgh unless the offer is overwhelming, and essentially consider Pitt to ASU a lateral move, if not a step back. Not trying to be negative by saying that, just trying to look at it realistically.
As for Davis, I don't know what to think of that. His Indiana teams always seemed to be respectable, however with the exception of 2002 couldn't seem to get over the hump.
