It's interesting to see the difference in opinions between Bobcats fans and Suns fans when it comes to Bell's defense. No one was complaining about Bell's defense on Bobcats forums this past season. In fact, many were crediting Bell with their team turning into one of the better defensive teams in the league. No one in Bobcats land is unhappy with the trade and almost all are against trading Bell.

Yet at the same time, it's rare to find a Suns fan who doesn't feel that JRich is a disappointment and isn't in support of trading him.

Name me one single defensive lapse of his that can compare to that Mason shot.

As opposed to JRich who would show up one game and then disappear the next 2-3 games.

So you'd rather start Amundson?

So we should have kept a player by the halfway point that was having one of the worst defensive seasons to date? At the time of the trade the SG position was our worst defended on the floor. My gosh hindsight is 20/20. Regardless of what the Fans think the Bobcats seem rather eager to trade away Bell right now. They tried to trade him for Kelenna Azubuike and Marco Belinelli, but the offer was declined. Evidently, the coaching staff and organization don't feel he is part of the teams future. They just decided one season after we did.

You don't justify hanging on to a player after the fact when that player was playing so bad. Especially, because there is no guarantee that player would play for you like he does a new coach and a new team.

Also, I recall SEVERAL games where Raja was absolutely horrid for the entire game. What do you call that? That is a defensive lapse in my book. In that regard there were several to choose from and I posted them before.

P.S. That one play you mention did not cost the Suns that game. If you do your job leading up to that shot it never comes down to one play. A loss is an accumulation of things you didn't do throughout the game. If a game or season comes down to one play...you're the idiot who put the coin in the slot machine.

Much like us with Amare going down, they were a better team than their end record showed.

Not if you ask the playoff bound teams.

Personally I liked the trade at the time but I just assumed he was a better defender. I don't regret the trade either but I do want to trade him asap. Get an overpaid scrub with a shorter contract and a 2010 1st rounder for him and let Barbosa start at SG.

I like Dudley and hope he gets plenty of playing time alongside Clark and Amare.
