I hope if he slides to us in the third round that we draft him. Shivers has been one of the nations top defenders at ASU the past couple of years, and he could turn out to be a heck of a pro.

I bet he could come in and give Wilson a run for his job. He certainly would give us an intriguing solution as a nickel back. Having him and Wilson on the field would help our coverages, but would allow us to us a run down nickel.

Wilson would be better playing close to the line in press coverage. If we can add another starting caliber strong safety, we could move Wilson around and allow him to be an use his athletic ability.

Any relation to Roy Shivers, ex-Card running back from the early 70's. He's now the GM of the Saskatchewan Roughriders of the CFL who's team nearly made it to the Grey Cup this year.

Being an ASU fan this really sucks, best of luck to him in the NFL. Jason Shivers will always be the man! Cards should draft him
