Where did he end up? I was so surprised to not see him in the roster last year when the cards were short on WRs. Is he on another team or just not in the NFL anymore?

Good for him but I still can't see why he isn't on a team somewhere. He's a dang good receiver.

Shipley is not a good receiver or he would be playing somewhere or, at least, on the PS somewhere. Too slow for the NFL.

Slow? Didn't see him as being slow. He caught 99% of the passes thrown his way and he got good separation. Yeah, they were against players that aren't even in the league anymore, but we were hurting for receivers last year. He would have been a decent enough receiver to fill in a hole they had.

He had a pretty good preseason last year and i really thought he was going to make the team as a returner. I dont remember him being that slow, but he had some good hands and could catch everything thrown his way.

Had some nice returns too. If I remember, he was pretty good in the prior preseason too. Good enough to be called back for another.

He was a smaller receiver and with JJ and Brown he wasn't going to make it as a WR, which is why I thought as a returner.

I liked him as well.

I am a UT ex but I did not have a high opinion of him coming out and just thought he was part of UT Brown nepotism with his brother and the McCoys but he ran solid routes and had solid hands... the guy could still play in the NFL and contribute but as long as he is happy and the NFL is a meat market of sorts which does not leave you with much afterwards except a dwindling bank account for a mid level player and deteriorating body
