All Catmando's kickoffs have been high & to the back / out of the endzone so I dont think he's had an opportunity to run down field yet.

I get such a sense of relief watching touchbacks. It's really bizarre.

One thing I liked about Feely and Rackers was that they weren't afraid to get down field and help in coverage. Has anyone noticed if Catanzaro is willing to make a tackle?
I was just thinking about this; always liked that both Feely and Rackers condsidered themselves not just kickers but football players, and weren't afraid to "mix it up."

But I can't help but to agree with the Cardinals decision, it was time to make the change. I hope Catanzaro works as well or better than the swap of Rackers for Feely did.

Wish Feely all the best!

His stats are better than my mental picture of him. He always made me very uneasy in every situation.

Glad the Cards are moving on.

I'm reading that the Giants traded K Brandon McManus, who they were going to cut, to Denver for a conditional 7th round pick

So the Broncos would rather give up an asset for a 4 game rental than hire Feely off the street. That is telling.

I'm in the minority here, but I never really liked Feely on or off the field, so I was pleased as punch to finally see the guy cut.

He has been a liability for years, and I'd guess he's probably cost us 3 games over the past 3 seasons.

Side Note:

Feely was the team's rep for the NFLPA. His alternates are Rashad Johnson and Sam Acho. Next man up.

I mean, yeah, he built schools for children in Haiti, but did he have to such a jerk about it?

He was pretty outspoken in his support of SB 1070.

So it would be pretty awesome if our next kicker is Mexican.

His political views. I'm not trying to drag this thread down into the dirty "Politics and Religion" forum, but he's fairly outspoken in his political views.

I disagree with him so much that I began disliking him.
