The Boston Celtics completed their season series sweep of the New York Knicks on Tuesday night, but it didn't come easy as the two teams battled in overtime. Boston was able to use a second-half comeback and a Jayson Tatum 3-pointer to send the game into overtime, where they would clinch the two-point victory, the closest game they had against New York all season.

After winning each of the first three matchups by at least 13 points, Boston closed out their biggest high-profile matchup left in the regular season and brought themselves within one road away from NBA history. Grabbing their 33rd win on the road this season, Boston is now one win away from tying the Golden State Warriors 34 road wins in the 2015-16 season.

Here's a quick recap of the Celtics 119-117 win over New York on Tuesday.

Keys to the game:

Jayson Tatum is clutch: Never given the credit or respect he deserves as a top-flight NBA superstar, Jayson Tatum shined in the clutch once again. Tatum's incredible stepback 3-pointer over OG Anunoby, a defensive stalwart for the Knicks, showed just once again that even if he's not the team-leader in points on a specific night, he can carry the team to victory when needed. Tatum finished the game 32 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, one steal, and a block, while Kristaps Porzingis was Boston's leading scorer with 34 points against his former team. This all happened while Jaylen Brown struggled with a knee injury and only played 22 minutes in the game, totaling 6 points.

Beat on the glass: Normally, the keys to the game are all positive, but the New York Knicks dominance on the glass has to be discussed. Not only did New York outrebound Boston 52-38 on the night, but they doubled the points in the paint matchup, with the Knicks scoring 60 to Boston's 30. The 3-point ball carried Boston as they outscored the Knicks by 24 in the 3-point department, but they got away with the victory while being dominated in the paint.

The Celtics will look to tie an NBA record for the most road wins in a single season with 34, and they'll have to defeat the Orlando Magic to do so. Orlando defeated Boston in their first matchup back in December, with the Celtics evening the score in January, and now the two will battle it out for the season series victory. While the Celtics are set as the No. 2 seed in the Eastern Conference, Orlando has clinched a play-in berth so both teams have their playoff positioning set with just three games remaining on the schedule.
