This lineup at the end was too small. We needed Len or Bender in there, couldn't set any screens.
They are in tank mode. We are going to see nit picky injuries from here on out. Just like last year. They play the vets for th first couple of months to see if they can sniff the playoffs. But by mid January they know where they are.I do not want nor expect to see the Suns in tank mode. Maybe the Suns should stay the course with Chandler unless they get a trade that benefits the team.
I wouldn't mind to see Knight and Dudley traded if it were possible.
Bledsoe had one of his "on" games. When he has that and Booker's playing the way he has this month, this backcourt can be as good as any in the league excluding GS.
Surprised to see Len struggle (just 5pts and 5 rebound in 20+ mins) I thought he would be motivated to get the start after coming off bench for so many games. Len did have the best +/- out of the starters however. Gobert seems to love playing against Alex.
Bender did well in the most minutes he's gotten in a while (maybe even the season).
I couldn't help but wonder why Len didn't get more minutes when he was playing well.
Tough loss.
Final: Jazz 106- Suns 101
I don't know if anybody caught it but in the closing minutes of the game, Booker was calling for the ball and yelled "Eric" and Bledsoe just ignored him.

And that's basketball, we see it all the time. In football, every receiver is "open" and often calling for the ball. In basketball, the same thing happens with every shooter or scorer. I see no evidence of Bledsoe freezing him or anyone out and last night was one of his better passing games too so I'm not at all concerned.
Chandler really helps to negate his impact.Gobert is like an evolutionary Mutombo. Nasty around the rim. He won the game for the Jazz, shutting us down at the rim the last few minutes.
You had me until the last paragraph. I'd like to see what Watson can do especially less Knight.
Still you get credit for not wanting to fire him at the end of the season.
Not exactly the same thing. He was next to Bledsoe and he was dribbling up the court. It's not like they were in the middle of a play. Not sure if Bledsoe was just determined to run a play for himself (he did) or if he simply felt Booker needed to chill. Have no clue the reasoning. Just thought it was interesting.
Maybe they have figured out how to tank more gracefully than Philly did in previous years. Play good, exciting ball for most of the game, with the youngins, then put the garbage in down the stretch...kinda like a prevent offense...lol

It's no coincidence that Chandler, Dudley, Chandler and Knight got DNPs tonight.
The youngsters are going to be getting more and more minutes.
