you know why teams can contest our passing lanes in the second half? because we don't adjust and start cutting to the basket when they try that ish and are out of position - our problems are fundamental

It's the same feeling I had yesterday when the Suns didn't address needs at the trade deadline.
I looked at it as this: No Butler - dodged a bullet. Not taking a bad KD trade - again dodged a bullet. Getting rid of Nurkic and taking back non-guaranteed contracts and a draft pick, too. Probably paid less compensation to ditch Nurkic than I thought. Overall gained flexibility for off season trades. I wasn't expecting that. By not making bad trades, and keeping 2 out of the three first rounders we just picked up and gaining another second round pick, I honestly think we didn't do so bad. I get most of you were expecting a large shake up. I was dreading us making more bad decisions. It was a good, not great day, in my opinion.

glad tyus still here - even tho he only usually lights up when the team does - that's the thing about point guards tho - when things go sour the PG should get a hold of things - but tyus struggles when the team does

I wasn't locked into trading for Butler, but with three stars, I thought the Suns might want to add a 4/5 so they could better compete.

Kellen Olsen said all the teams were looking for that. Price was high on those guys. Teams also hung onto those guys, too.

There were big men available early in the year. Jonas' price wasn't high.
