We led by 13 pt mid 4th, but again we forced Book ISOs for too long and dug a 4pt deficit with 1.2sec left. Jazz defense is not that good but they also can figure out how to defend ISOs by a tired Book. Jazz didn't really want the game except for maybe Collier. Had Maka missed 2nd FT on purpose, they'd have won with .9sec left.

We need more set plays to get our hot hands easy cath-n-shoot looks, like Allen in this game and sometimes Beal, Jones and even RO. When we do KD/Book ISOs, other players stand still watching too often, waiting for the resulting random chance. Against good def. teams, it's very ineffective.

That's the third 40 point, 10 assist game by Devin Booker.

good game by the suns tonight
You are being sarcastic right?

I turned the game off with 4.5 seconds left and missed the ending, but it changes nothing.

They completely and totally suck. There are only 4 teams that are certifiably worse than them - 1 of them is Utah, and they had to have a miraculous finish to beat them.

I'm sure it matters little to you but this kind of exagerration puts a dent in any credibility you might have here. I wouldn't disagree if you'd said we probably have the worst player/pick asset situation in the league. But we are hardly the 4th worst team regardless of whatever meaning you intended for "certifiably". We're mediocre and we have too many big names out there to justify losing half our games but there are 16 teams below us despite how disappointingly we've played this season.

Yep, it's not that long ago when we actually were amongst the bottom three teams in the league. We're mediocre-to bad now, but still not bottom five. So there's that.

Problem is expectations were to compete with the top teams and go deep in the playoffs. That is not happening this year. So we probably will miss the playoffs or get bumped in play-in or the first round. If we "luck" into a high draft pick it will be taken away. Only positive is that the guys will get a long summer holiday and we can watch Bridges and Brunson in the playoffs :p

Here is that Grayson Allen 3-point shot to tie the game and send it into overtime.

Not sure how many people actually watched the game, but putting in Plumlee when Richards was dominating the boards looked like intentional sabotage. The 111-98 lead disappeared almost immediately, and Plumlee gave up like 4 offensive rebounds.

I really thought there was no chance that Bud would be worse than Vogel, but he even more clueless.

On this team. Keep: Book, Allen, O'Neal, Bol, Dunn, Richards, Oso

Trade or let go: Durant, Beale, Plumlee

I wish we could keep Jones, but I do not see any way.

Maybe keep: Gillespie, Morris, Bridges.

In trading Durant and Beale look for picks and quality young players. We might not get a lot back, but a decent pick and player would be helpful.

In the draft look for: Maturity, character, intelligence, work ethic, talent, and willingness to improve. Stay away from players that are too young or prima donnas.

The Suns were fortunate to win last night, but the thought kept going through my head, the Suns are a better when they play team basketball.

Yes, Devin Booker had a sensational game, but I saw signs of team basketball last night.

Somehow, they got out of this style of play in the three-star system and went to more isolation basketball. They need to get back to team basketball. It's what carried them to the Finals. Two stars is more than enough.

Devin Booker and a star should be sufficient with good, solid rotation players.

Btw, I don't think Bradley Beal is the problem.
