And in one of those games I saw kyler get mashed more often than in any game he’s played for the cardinals in 2+ years.
Someone must of forgotten to the 2019 season, specifically the Panthers game.

I love how the narrative early in the season was how Hudson made our whole line better and now that he’s out and our line struggled the narrative is missing him wasn’t the reason. This board is great in its ability to flip flop on a dime.
Don’t do that. Shane is only speaking for Shane. Not “this board” or anyone else.

I read that MAX gave up '0' pressures in his first start, and the failures I noted were largely on Jones.

Now, was there a communication problem that wouldn't have existed with Hudson at centre? Possibly.

Of course, we're better off with Hudson but Max has been a more than adequate sub in the short term.

No narrative from me. I fully believe we’re better with Hudson. But it hasn’t hurt or destroyed the team as stout is suggesting with The NEEDS TO BE BACK ASAP.

Im just Asking a question? Was Kyler uNader extreme pressure against a much better DL in Cleveland I don’t think he was? Was the majority of those pressures agains the Texans the fault of Max? I seriously don’t know. Do you?
I do know that the bad snaps/miscommunication between center and kyler and kyler having to jump each snap are a direct result of no Hudson. There’s a good likelihood that Hudson helps the guards (you know Josh jones who almost got kyler killed) a great deal. I do know that you can’t say Hudson improves the whole line one day and then say his absence doesn’t matter the next without being hypocritical.

If these are the only 3-4 games he misses out of the whole 17 game season, then I wouldn’t say that’s significant at all. That wouldn’t even be a quarter of the season. If he misses more games then yea that’s a significant problem.
I think any amount of games over 2 is significant. So we will just have to disagree. And the truth is, we have zero idea when he’ll be back. They placed him on IR meaning he wasn’t day to day. Hope it’s sooner than later.

I legitimately can’t remember him taking as many big hits in any other game, including blindside hits he didn’t see coming. If he has, it’s obviously been a long time since it last occurred.

This is just but one example. Happens all the time. The goalposts on ASFN have been fitted with wheels to accommodate the inconsistent positions that many posters espouse. I don’t think it’s any different on any other board on any topic on the World Wide Web.

In this conversation the bolded is the only thing that matters and the only thing we are really talking about.

True, and we do have a lot of season left to play. So far, that's all he's supposed to miss, but it doesn't mean he won't miss more. Right now, I'm getting a bit nervous with the injuries piling up.

Wish our bye was sooner than Thanksgiving. We are pretty beat up right now.

Hudson has an insignificant injury history. Every year new and old linemen miss significant time. Getting rolled upon from behind usually takes out a couple. This was a fluke injury.

Do you know how many of those are the actual fault of the C? I don’t? And against a team with a far better DL across the board in Cleveland he was hardly touched.

I was actually wondering how much of Jones fall off a cliff is due to him sucking and how much is due to not having Hudson next to him which made him better? He struggled at RT but since he's gone back to RG he's been even worse. i do wonder if Hudson was somewhat carrying him?
