I'm sure he'll find someway to qualify the crow eating that's deserved.

What a difference having a double digit sack threat at OLB has on a team. Abraham was a steal, but in general ARZ made all the right moves in FA, Dansby is having a PB season, Powers has locked down the starting job across from PP, Shaughnessy is having a good year, even Mendenhall has played well as of late and forms a nice 1-2 punch with Ellington.

First Cardinal defender to have double digit sacks since Berry in 2004.

And Dansby. What a game he had! The fountain of youth must be somewhere near Warner and Hardy. Even that ancient safety Bell had a couple of good plays today.

You mean it makes a differance having Keim running the show over the human snail? ;) Who would've thunk it? Lol :p

This IMO is the greatest FA class the Cards have ever had...by far!!!

I want to thank the @AZCardinals for giving me a chance when others gave up on me133 sacks(9th all time)past L.T. I'm humbled and blessed

What a great pickup. As earlier mentioned, a double-digit sack OLB is exactly what this defense was missing.

Maybe the Falcons didn't realize you need to have some other defenders who can pass rush as well. :)

Old Abe was a fantastic signing. LOS was a fantastic signing. Mendy was a decent signing. Winston was a meh signing but at least he's better than Snyder, Fanaca and Johnson put together. Powers was a solid signing since we needed a starter and the Colts paid way too much for Toler.

I pretty much stand alone on this but Bell was a solid signing as well.

Not too much money spent on any one player and several good to great signings so A- on this past FA period. Lack of a LT keeps this from an A++ grade.

With three sacks in Sunday’s win against the Rams, Cardinals outside linebacker John Abraham has passed Hall of Fame outside linebacker Lawrence Taylor and long-time star defensive end Leslie O’Neal for ninth place on the NFL’s all-time sack list, according to data from the Cardinals.

Abraham now has 133 career NFL sacks, a half-sack more than Taylor and O’Neal (132.5). Abraham now needs five sacks to move past John Randle and Richard Dent (137.5 career sacks apiece) to take over seventh place on the all-time list.

Congrats John Abraham! So glad you are finishing your career as an Arizona Cardinal. We luv ya!

The beautiful thing about this Cardinals team is how unselfish they are. Just before Abe's third sack, the TV broadcast showed Calais Campbell saying something to Darnell Dockett. Turned out the play was a stunt with CC occupying the guard and tackle while Abe circled stunted to the inside. He probably asked Dock to occupy the center to give Abe a free shot at the QB. Unselfish, but also smart!

It's poetic justice that a Cardinals Defender, in this case Abraham, surpassed Lawrence Taylor. That guy wreaked havoc on Big Red QB's back in the day! I bet he got half of his career sack totals against us!:)

I bet Neil Lomax still has nightmares about LT!

"Honest Abe" was named by Peter King as one of his Defensive Players of the week.

John Abraham, outside linebacker, Arizona. Moved past Lawrence Taylor into ninth place on the all-time sack list with a three-sack, one-safety day in the Cards’ rout of the Rams. Abraham looks like he could easily give the Cards another productive season as a second rush alternative to Calais Campbell in 2014, and I hear he wants to play another one.

And to think, he's done ALL of his damage in the last 6-7 games. Before that, he was in spot duty only. Just think if he'd been a starter here from day 1!

I saw this too. That sack was as much (probably more) about Campbell than Abraham. Great call and execution.
