Speaking of wide receivers, what about B. Johnson (who else) for Denver's disgruntled A. Lelie? This is a trade that could work out for both squads. I know Lelie has underachieved in relation to where he was drafted, but so has B. Johnson.

NFL reported Denver is looking for comensurate value with Lelie's number one draft slot. B.J. would work. Both these players could benefit from the move.

I'm bored. Just something to post.

I think it is a great idea. I believe Lelie will be the burner we are looking for ...

That sounds ok at first hearing except for one issue, chemistry. Lelie is whining because the Broncos went out and got a #1 reciever. The Cardinals don't need the attitude... BJ has accepted his role on the team and works well with the existing reciever corp. There was no whining coming from him when the Cardinals drafted Fitzgerald. He, Fitz and Q complement one another.

One other point BJ is a good blocker for a WR. I don't believe the same can be said of Lelie.

Why everyone is so intent on throwing BJ out with the bathwater is beyond me.

He caught 40 passes last year as a #3 WR. As previously mentioned, he is an excellent blocker and a positive influence in the locker room.

In McCoy we have every bit the "burner" that Lelie is.

Quit trying to meddle with an extremely balanced WR corp.

We can afford to keep him, he isn't a cap problem.

Both Clayton and Nazaquad need to learn about association and causation. They both seem to be cherry picking statistics that fit their preconceived notions of behavior description, but in the case of the former, he simply ignores those that do not support his thesis.

The first two receivers in 2004: Fitz and Roy Williams: both are performing nicely. 2003: Charles Rogers and Andre Johnson: quite capable if not yet stunning. 2002: Donte Stallworth and Ashley Lelie: true standouts. 2001: David Terrell and Koren Robinson. Clayton is full of it.

As for Nazaquad: in the last nine seasons, the Cardinals have won more postseason games than the Cowboys. What does that tell you about the relative quality of the two teams?
