Yeah Mel Kiper was high on Washington as well, as a matter of fact he was very complementary about the Dbacks draft as a whole and loved the Williams, Washington, Roberts and Schofield picks.

Two days ago I said that we should be happy, because we are actually closer to our QBOF now than at any time in the last 10 years. Thank you for so eloquently displaying why Max Hall is that QBOF. You have done a masterful job of it.

This------is why we who come to this board are so truly blessed. You have so artfully given us a mood altering post that forces our focus to be on what is new and light hearted and joyful, instead of the same ol' same ol'. You are one of the treasures of this board, and I truly enjoy reading your passionate and generally well-conceived ideas-----(even those that I don't necessarily agree with). This is one of your very best, and will be treasured by me, hopefully for a very, very long time.

Contrary to all the doom and gloom, and the flame throwing that has occurred recently on this board, you have aptly pointed out why we have such good reason to be joyful and excited about the direction this team has taken.

Every day, I thank God for Whiz, and everyday, I should also thank God for letting you post here. I know that you post elsewhere, but I truly feel that this particular forum was created with people like you in mind. Your intimate knowlege and passion for this game, and PARTICULARLY THIS TEAM, and your ability to communicate the same on this forum, has no equal in my estimation. If you are an Arizona Cardinals' fan named Sara...and you watched the Cardinals' 20-10 pre-season win over the Redskins last night it surely made "Sara Smile!"


As Hall & Oates lamented "She's Gone"...well the Cardinals were lamenting this off-season that both Warner and Dansby are gone...which caused many Cardinal fans, all Saras included, to frown and insist "I Can't Go For That."

To the long time fans (and probably some southern Arizona folks) yes but to those of us with Valley of the Sun connections, he has almost god-like status. I look at his Cowboy days and just consider it a small blip on an otherwise stellar career.
