John McDounough to be named Blackhawks new Pres

huge move for theHawks and yet another step in the right direction for a team desperatly needing a turnaround
McDounough (die hard Sox fan ironically) was personally responcible for turning the Cubs around as their president 25 years ago. Now they are setting attendance records. Arguably one of the best PR guys in sports

Nice to see the Blackhawks trying to be a real professional franchise again. The NHL needs them to be good and marketable. Patrick Kane looks like the real deal so far and if Havlat can stay healthy, this is going to be a exciting team, much like the Penguins where last year. Also, Jonathan Toews looks like he is going to be a solid 60to 80 point a season player.

They need to build a Crosby vs. Kane type of hype.
