Watching our local News at 10 here in CT and they are mentioning possible replacements for Randy Edsall to be the next head coach at UConn and John McNulty was a name that was mentioned. They also said he could be a possible OC for Miami. I hope he stays in AZ, WR has been one of the few bright spots on this team.

What I'm interested in is his possibility as an OC. Why doesn't Whiz look into that possibility for him here?

Whiz said today that Miller is probably going to handle the playcalling duties next year. There's your OC change.

I fear the coaching staff will stay intact. Whiz will probably split the DC coaching duties just like he did the OC duties this year.

A Defensive Run coordinator and a Defensive Pass Coordinator. What a great concept! :thud:

I will vomit if this happens.
Why? based on what? He could be the next Bill Walsh, we don't know. He could also be the next Dick Jamieson . Why is everybody ready to write this guy off without giving him a chance?

Apparently, at least part of the year he has had a chance....

Yea but there's a huge difference between calling some plays here and there and being OC. Being the pasing game coordinator, I'm sure he had alot of input into the gameplan but being THE guy is still alot different, especially if gets to rid himself of the Russ Grimm factor.

It was reported earlier in the year that KW had relinquished playcalling duties to him a while ago.

I'm going from memory but I thought he was letting him call some plays and would let his role expand in the following weeks. The first we heard about it was something like week 14, i think.
