#Bengals have claimed former #Cardinals QB John Skelton off waivers.

Something feels oddly normal about this.

Bengals announced they claimed John Skelton on waivers. So the former Cards' QB is a Bengals' QB and the former Bengals' QB is the Cards' QB
Another one

Rumor has it, his flight flew over Cincinnati and he ended up somewhere in Canada

Wow, yesterday someone was giving us crap on ESPN because of us getting former Bengals QB's....Boomer, Blake, and now Carson.

Now today they end up with Skelton...ROFL.

Good luck to him though.

Good for him. He had his shot here, it didn't work out, but I don't wish him any ill will. I'm glad he can extend his career elsewhere.

Hopefully the Bengals front office will let people that live near the practice field know to watch out for low flying objects traveling at a high rate of speed.

I wish him the best. Glad he gets one more shot. Everyone deserves 1 second chance in their life.

Good guy, wish him the best. Could be another Josh McCown, spends 10 years in the NFL.

He will get a chance to work with a pretty good OC and qb guy in Jay Gruden. Wish him nothing but the best.

Does this mean that if jay gruden would have been coach he would have been the starter? Thank goodness that didn't happen.

I was on the Skelton bandwagon until all four wheels came off and the wagon burst into flames.

I do wish him the best and I am glad he was able to catch on somewhere else.

I still think he can be successful if he ends up on somewhat of a normal NFL team.

Skelton now gets his chance to develop as a NFL QB under coaches who have actually demonstrated that they know how to train and develop a NFL QB.

If he does get his chance to play and does well there unlike here (where every QB crashed and burned (except for Warner who simply ignored Whisenhunt's "expertise") under Whisenhunt's tutelage and development), will all of the Skelton haters be man enough to eat crow and admit their unreasoned and illogical hatred of a 3 year pro from a small school?

no way. Unless your offense specializes in inaccurate dump screens and 5 yard outs.

Im shocked he got picked up frankly. Good luck to him but I am glad hes not my concern anymore.
