Very few people in life get another chance. Kurt Warner did and he made the most of it. There are many folks in AZ who would really like to see you succeed. It is up to you to grab the ring and make the most of it.

The dude is doing the best he can, and Lindley is the same. It is not a question of them not busting their arses, it is a question of their skill level and it just is not good enough which is nothing to be ashamed of because there are very few people capable of being a starting QB in the NFL. They are not starting QB material, it is what it is.

I don't know JG, most people here think franchise QB's are a dime a dozen.

He is not talented enough to succeed in the NFL. Good luck in the real world John.

I haven't given up on Lindley

But I have on Skelton. The game has slowed down for Skelton because he knows the scheme, the reads, etc., but he cannot throw an accurate ball.

For Lindley, the game is still way too fast, he doesn't have enough knowledge/confidence, and his throws are primarily off because he and the receivers are not on the same page. His interceptions have come on desperate throws when he is under pressure instead of throwing it away. But he is an accurate thrower, and that is something we can work with.

If his confidence were not completely shot, I would have supported keeping him in there. But it clearly is. I hope he gets back out there before the end of the season.

Not sure what that means. Skelton will at the very least be a backup for a long time.

Ok... At best, he will never be better than 60 QB's already on NFL rosters. So that makes him one of the worst backups in the league. All three QB's on our team are not worthy of being an NFL starter on a consistent basis.

And do you mean Charlie Batch "Long Time"? I don't think he will be on an NFL roster in 3 or 4 years.

Rookie contract runs out......Moves on to another team...... Maybe lasts a season or two on a similarly built crappy team..... Eventually cut because that team drafts a younger (and better) replacement.......Never to be heard of again.

McCown is still a back up isn't he?

Lindley in his college career never suggested he was a accurate passer by his completion ratio. Just like Skelton, his accuracy was flawed in college and just like Skelton he ended up a late round pick because of it. Accuracy will never improve significantly. Kolb cannot stay healthy and the other QBs do not have the accuracy needed for the NFL. We need a whole new slate of QBs. We have waited. We have saw. There were times in the last game where Lindley had time, saw his WR and plain missed him by a lot. It cannot be worked on to any point where you could say "he is accurate".

Skelton is terrible. We'll be lucky if we don't have to change his nickname to Triple Deuce.

In Seattle? They better have extra EMS personnel on hand for our receivers.

NFL films will title the highlights Slaughtered in Seattle.

Kurt Warner's college completion rate was about 57%. Lindley's was 55.5%. When Lindley throws in rhythm, like Warner, he is an accurate passer and will be more accurate with time and reps.

I think that Skelton has moxie, can be clutch, but is inconsistent with his footwork, timing and accuracy. And he hasn't improved over three years.

You're correct...but good QBs should be with the skill players we have on offense

You didn't really just say MOST people on here did you?

Yes as in most but not all. Look at all the posts saying "we need to draft a franchise qb" as if they are in abundance on draft day. Last year was a rarity when it comes to good qb's being available.. The jury is still out on how many will be the so called "FRANCHISE QB".

In fact name any other year where so many were drafted and have had the success that they are having?
