This is really the only logical conclusion. However what I don't understand is why he is still on the practice squad if he sucks, but Bausby was cut.

I'm just happy Kevin Peterson was put on IR so we don't have to see him again for at least 3 weeks.

Sometimes coaches can see the forest for the trees. Kevin could be a practice hero that doesn't put it together during the games. We don't know.

Just guessing but each DC has a vision of what kind of guys he wants in the secondary and how he wants them to fit in. VJ probably wants to see each guy in action. If the dude reveals an unacceptable weakness (including injury or rust) they cut him.

Defensive coaches are probably watching Prince, JJ etc. closely in the hope that one or more can be plugged into the CB2 slot opposite PP21 within the. Cardinal scheme. This operation typically takes a week or two - that's why they didn't activate Prince and might not play JJ right away.

Statistically they are relatively mediocre on both offense and defense.

We may very well lose this game, but I just don’t understand comments thinking we are going to get beat badly by the guys.

1. The trade deadline has passed.
2. Teams don't trade quality starting CBs very often midseason.

They curb stomped the Jets (24-3) Seahawks (24-7) & Rams (28-3) in the first half.

Most whoopings happen quickly, then the other team rallies only to lose.

Our hope will need to rest in the Vegas, Tenn, & Jets road games, where they didn't play lights out.
