Good player, good pick up for those surging Lions! RT @KCBrackley: MJ! Jonathan Joseph agreed to terms with lions. @AdamSchefter reported it this afternoon.

And the need to keep DRC keeps getting greater and greater.

The Lions are only a few players away from being competitive. They lost a few close games last year.

I hope they do well this year.

If Stafford stays healthy IMO they will overcome Da Bears...the Lions are 2 years away from a legit title contender IF Staffords health holds.

Stafford's shoulders seem to be a recurring problem. I wouldn't want him here given those shoulders. Inside a dome with concrete? Hell no.

I don't think he's going to last much longer, which sucks, because he has the tools, he just can't take the punishment. I hope he proves me wrong, but it's gotten to the point where every hit you cringe and think his shoulder is going to pop out...and he doesn't prove that wrong very often.

Could be Leinart part 2 which he never recovered from

The Lions are going to win 10+ games in that tough division.

Someone brought it up to Urban on Twitter.

Joseph does have ties to our coaching staff. Our new DB coach was his DB coach with the Bengals.

if there was a universe where we traded DRC plus for Kolb but signed Joseph, I would hail the Cardinals as geniuses. i won't hold my breath for that to happen though. would make too much sense.

I am hoping Joseph is waiting to see what happens with DRC. Just make the freaking trade already. Like someone else said, the painfully slow Cardinals are now even MORE held up then usual because of this.

If I am Wiz I grab the phone from Graves and say "Hey you are going to get eaten alive by Roseman. Let me handle this" and get the deal done. The waiting is killing me.

This is what I'm thinking will happen...players are loyal to coaches that made them successfull and really don't care for change. We seem to be willing to pay money for players we target, the hard part seems to be holding their interest. Maybe the coaching ties holds Joseph's interest.
