Man... that is some weak sauce for a guy making 10 mill per.
Yup. I sometimes play the Cards audio stuff when I’m showering for work in the morning. That morning, they were interviewing him and when asked, he literally said it like it was no big deal at all. Something to the effect of “No, no. My girlfriend/wife just had a baby so we’ve been preparing for that and I’ve been helping her with the baby”. I can remember being like “wft”. My wife was in the bathroom brushing her teeth at the time and was giving me grief for not being more sensitive lol.

That came out on the board... Many here were actually defending him.

Hard to complain with Thai roster as constructed honestly. At this point Keim deserves lots of praise.
My only current criticism is what is going to happen going forward. Tons of free agents and the cap space doesn't look great.

I think Keim's past three drafts have been pretty solid.

Yeah, I heard that interview too, and I already did not like the signing.

He really gave off the vibe that he only cares about the money, so I am not surprised at all at his lousy performance thus far.

Yep that was what I heard too but couldn't find it when searching.

I never liked the signing. I never like signing one year wonders to big deals but the fact Miami never liked the player because he gave off Khemdiche vibes should have been a big no for Keim.

He's a guy that doesn't love football. He loves the money. He wants the adoration and respect without the work and the effort. Now he got the big pay day he's just coasting. He probably sits at home with his wife working out how to turn his G money into property or investments so he never has to work again. I fully expect that after we eventually cut him he will bum around the league on cheap deals phoning it in for $2m here and $3m there as long as he can.

I didn’t like it then but tempered my disdain because Vance was his coach in Miami so I figured he’d have a bead on this…

Yeah that's the bit I don't understand. He's knows what happened at Miami so why back the signing? I'm assuming Keim spoke to him first. Would be dumb not too.

Evidently, close proximity didn't give Vance the intimate knowledge of Jordan's predilections that you have. ;)

Do you mean the great sin of sharing duties with his wife shortly after the birth of their child?

Lots of players do that, it's not a full time job that stops you working out in the off season. Or is Jordan Phillips the first NFL player thats had a kid?

Or are some extrapolating from his comments that he did not work out at all in the offseason?

Those were his words.

Often injured, low performing guys says he didn;t work out in the offseason because he was being a daddy. Should I believe the words that match the results or should I think "Maybe he didn't mean that?"

No, but maybe you shouldn't overstate the case.

All I've stated are the words of his former team and those out of his own mouth. Which tally perfect with what we have seen from the player.

This is your embellishment:

By the way, did Jordan and his wife decide on a University Fund for their child or will they wait until he bums around the League stealing millions?

I’ve watched the Cards for 50 years or more. One thing I can report is that when the team has had a good defensive line, they’ve won games. To me, you can’t have too many D linemen who can shut down the run and put pressure on opposing QB. I give the current coaching staff credit for knowing when a player is worth his salt and when he’s not. The team is 6-0, going into a 4-game stretch in which they could win all 4, and at least 3. 9-1 after, with 7 to play is a darn great place to be. If coaching staff has decided Phillips is worth being on the team, that’s good enough for me. I’m glad he’s here.
