WEST LAFAYETTE - Purdue women's basketball freshman point guard Jordyn Poole became the sixth player to enter the transfer portal.

Poole announced her intention to enter the transfer portal through her X account on Tuesday.

The latest transfer came after Poole, a former McDonald's All-American nominee from Fort Wayne Snider played in eight games.

Poole came back from an ankle injury she sustained during the 2024 Indiana All-Star showcase.

She played in eight games but persistent ankle injuries kept her out most of the season. Poole scored seven points twice against Iowa on Dec. 29 and Washington on Jan. 18 where she logged a season high 21 minutes.

Poole's quickness and playmaking that made her a top 50 player in the 2024 class were seen in spurts.

Purdue has a crowded group entering the transfer portal after the program finished 10-19 and missed the Big Ten Conference Tournament after going 3-15.
