Anyone else love the way this guy plays the game?

He looks like he could be the perfect replacement for Nash when the time comes, and in the offseason we should seriously consider trying everything we can to trade for him so he can learn from Nash while hes still playing at a top level.

The guys is fast with great court vision and he can shoot the ball.

Plus hes playing behind TJ Ford so the possibility of obtaining him is there if we offer something BC and the Raps can use.

If we end up with Corey Brewer or Brandon Wright in the draft then maybe package Diaw and the Suns own first rounder for Calderon.

Maybe thats to little or to much, cause im not sure how high Toronto values Calderon. But what i do know is he could be a Nash clone in this offense.

Diaw will be in a base year contract situation.

Toronto loves Calderon, and they are the Phoenix of the east (well in the making anyway)... they aren't giving up one half of their Nash without some major temptation. You would have to offer something pretty appealing but your first rounder and Diaw sounds like it would work. It might be a little much but Calderon has a LOT of potential, being under Nash is the perfect situation for him.

Does anyone else think that maybe Bryan Colangelo kept some players he liked to himself before he left for Toronto? I know the Suns had liked Garbajosa, and that's certainly from BC, but can you imagine if the Suns had offered the same money to Calderon that the Raptors did? I just really think it would be nice to have Calderon instead of Banks right now.

I'd rather have Luol Deng or Andre Igoudala. But who was responsible for that getting F'ed up? That's right, Bryan Colangelo.

Hindsight is 20/20. Time to move on.

No, I was just wondering if he was holding back information about good players. I don't care so much that he left, but if he figured out that Calderon was good while he was with the Suns but just kept it to himself, that'd be a bit questionable. I've actually heard from a very reliable source that Bryan Colangelo is a a pompous ass that everybody under him in the organization hated.

I thought that's what everyone thought about Sarver.

I believe Calderon was actually signed by the Raptors before BC got there.

I can't remember for sure, but I think he had injuries that kept him from playing as much. He played in 64 games in 2005-06. He really jumped his shooting this season from 42.3% to 52.1% this season and his assists were jumped from 4.5 to 5.0 per game in fewer minutes per game.
