Let's see if the D-backs will trade Josh Byrnes for Steve Kerr, Amare, and the Atlanta pick. The D-backs will win another World Series before the Suns win a championship.

On a serious note, we need Marcus Camby, Tyson Chandler, or Emeka Okafor. I'm willing to give up Amare for one of them. His knees are shot, he won't box someone out even if his life depends on it, and, by the way he plays D, I think Sir Charles could take him off the dribble or in the post right now. His offensive game is overrated. There are quite a few athletic big men who can dunk off Steve Nash's passes and hit open jumpers. He used to be a beast, now he's a good pick-and-roll partner for Steve who shoots free-throws pretty well...who can't rebound or play defense.

Rebounding and defense are largely effort "skills." Amare's "killer instinct" exists only in Arizona Republic quotes and ESPN sound-bites. Everyone complains about Boris' lack of effort...well, we have a loafing big-man on the court at all times...Boris or Amare.

I currently live in San Antonio and hate the Spurs, but they play hard. Three superstars who play hard + role players who would run through a brick wall to win = NBA Champions. Talent + some effort (Steve, Marion, Raja, Grant, Skinner, Leandro and probably D. J. if we ever get to see him) = Pacific Division Champions.

Trade Amare and Boris for guys who play hard!

Boris has been a bit better as of late. This team lacks that fire and passion to succeed. I don't know what it is. Is it that we are less talented? Is it that we don't care? Whatever it is, its bad and its getting to the players but yet they aren't doing anything about it.

And why didn't D'Antoni call a timeout with 14 seconds left? He always is good at drawing up plays. Especially in a game ending situation. I thought that was kind of stupid.

Oh boy, its going to be a long season.
