Just remember... we beat the team that kicked your ass last year.
"We" knocked the World Champions out of the playoffs.
Something the Suns could NOT do, even with your gangster thug Amare.

How many posts are on this board saying stuff like, "We can beat anyone but the Spurs?"
or "Thanks Mavs for taking the Spurs out because we know we couldn't have beat them?
Tim Duncan, after our series made the comment that it was the best and hardest fought playoff series of his career.

He certainly didn't say that after he kicked your ass last year.
You weren't even an after thought.

uh - correct me if I'm wrong, but you beat the team that was A YEAR OLDER than last year - which beat us - big freaking deal. That has no bearing on anything transeferring over to this year.

And who cares if there are posts all over the board saying "we can beat anyone but the Spurs" because after this series, YOUR board is gonna be littered with post like "We can beat anyone BUT NASH" - and THAT is gonna sting like a freaking bitch.

Again - you want to talk last year, let's talk about how we beat your pathetic asses without one of our starters and then let's talk about how we're tied with you AGAIN without two of our starters and 3 of our starters for 2 of the 4 games so far.

The Spurs are in the past, but cling on to what you can right now, you know the end is near, I'd be clinging on to anything as well.

Suns in 7.

All I heard was he was going to be fine too. It was the other ankle from the one he bruised.

Usually when they say he is fine, it means he may never play again, and if they say he won't play he will play. :)

I guess the same question I asked the LA fans: aren't you humiliated that your team has lost to a team which playe without their All Star PF, their starting center is just coming back after 3 months. and their starting guard is playing on a bad leg.

Isn't this almost as bad as losing to team in playoffs even after deliberating injuring one of their opponent's starters like last year?

Does anyone believe the Mavs would have one a single game against the Suns if Amare had been healthy?

Why would you ban someone over such a trivial comment when Suns fans are accusing Howard of faking an injury?
Now THAT would be cause to consider someone as stupid.

So, I assume that Raja faked his injury just so that he could come back and pump his team up at a later period in the series?
Or could I assume that Amare decided to have surgery right before the season so that he could avoid training camp and collect a healthy paycheck without having to break a sweat?

Please, come on.
It goes both ways and its all b.s.

You guys need to get thicker skin or something. The constant banning is so pansy ass.
You don't see that kind of crap on the Mavs boards.

Don't worry I am not going to ban you. I am glad Howard is okay =)

Man your tripping, Last year this team had Amare, Nash, Marion, Johnson who sat out like a girl and Richardson who dissapeared, way undersized to the spurs, Whatever and no bench, F the Spurs too, healthy Suns would kill both your teams and you would be ignorant to say no, Healthy this team would kill SA, unhealthy Suns are hanging with the Mavs. Your team is weak, really though lost by 25 to a team that had 3 major starters out, On 50% or returning from 3 months, not to mention Marion and Nash. You did the Suns no favor. Crying like a Dr Phil episode, Mavs suck and would be killed by "gangsta Amare", Amare and all the Suns have tons of class, Amare is no thug, Last I checked he played in the NBA, was being a class act and was not selling Rock and banging some set. Amare aint a thug he is the future and your team is weak, Peace

I always wondered how someone could be tough or a pansy on a computer. Maybe if I type really hard.

first, amare a thug? the dude is a well-spoken very well-intention young man. and considering where he's come from, he's an inspiration. justify your name calling please.

second, who cares about what we did with the spurs last year, as i recall we kicked your ass last year. wanna talk about that? oh wait, you wanna talk about having kicked the spurs ass THIS year. something more current. how's this for current . . . we beat your ass by 20 tonight.

can someone please enlighten me where Amare became "gangsta"? Just cause he killed your asses last year, doesn't make a killer or a gangster - it just makes him BETTER THAN YOUR SORRY ASS TEAM.

This series is just getting started baby. 2-2, going back to the Lonestar state without having Raja for two game - it's all we could ask for.

Seriously, Mavs fans better PRAY that Bell is done for the rest of the series, because if we're healthy, there's no way we lose to them.

Nice game grading. However, I disagree on couple of Suns grades.

Tim Thomas should be a D instead of a C. He did not do much. Picked up stupid fouls and had a really bad TO.

Boris Diaw C+? He should at least be a B just for the facial on Dirk.

Eddie House should be a C instead of a B. Most minutes and 4 of 8 points came in garbage time.

I agree with Diaw and TT, but no House got his points in crunch time and played real minutes, remember he was on Stackhouse, He was in on important minutes and splashed a couple, hope he builds off it

not sure how 20, 9 and 4 = C+ - Boris ain't Amare Stoudemire, that's still a hell of a game by the big Frenchy, especially considering it was his back to back facials that ended the game basically. The guy grades out as an A- or B+ at worst.

Man, this series is just starting get really good. Game 1-4 in 7 games series are laways just the warm-up acts - now come the swing game/the desperation game/ and the possible nother of all games - GAME 7!

Should kill all of us by the end of it.

I don't know how I will take another game 7 emotionally. We need to come out with same energy as today for game 5...

Suns will NOT win Thursday. I bet $100.00 that the Mavs will win the next two in a row.
After game 6, we'll be done with you.

I'm not a player. I'm just a fan so you cannot compare the two.

It's dumb either way. It actually makes more sense for a player to guarantee a game since he actually has a say in the outcome.
