" Dan Orlovsky, who has moved ahead of Josh McCown as the No. 2 quarterback, went 7-for-15 for 88 yards and one interception. "

I'm dissappointed to read this as I grew fonder of Josh the minute he left town. Seriously, seemed a nice guy, hope he keeps his career going.

Trade Navarre for McCown

Not with his two year $6million contract!
We are not going to pay $3 million this year for a third string quarterback.

The Lions were robbed blind by his agent. I think they wasted up to $40 million of cap space on a 3rd string QB and various peripheral wide receivers.

Frankly, Josh is being paid way too much for a 3rd string guy. He was supposed to challenge for the #1 spot. I wouldn't totally be surprised if the Lions re-worked his deal or cut him. He's being paid $2M/year!!

the Detroit Lions have signed free agent QB Josh McCown (Cardinals) to a two-year contract worth $6 million. The deal will pay him $4 million in 2006 between his signing bonus and base salary.

Boy, after watching Leinart put passes on the money while hitting recievers in step I don't want to go back to having guys reaching back, bending down, jumping, diving or all other manner of contorsions just to get to one of Josh's errant passes. This is a new era in Cards football.

How in the world did we lose to the Lions three years in a row?

Their management almost makes ours look smart.
