I heart this show.

It's quantum leap with a domestic element. I really liked the home shots of Dan's wife breaking down...I know my wife would be a wreck if I were bouncing around spacetime like that. It's just a watchable, fun show.

I sure hope it survives. Put it on at another time....give it a chance, NBC!!!!

Yes! Thank you! Thought I was the only one who felt this way. Once again, we're on the same page. There are consequences to these adventures. Always more interesting when real-life problems are involved. It's why all the concern over the "how" and "why" of time travel has been on the back burner for me.

Heard the same thing. The last two episodes should run Dec 17 & 19, probably done without benefit of knowing of its own demise and unable to wrap up the series. Even though I was not in love with the show I did like it and was just getting invested in the characters.

I hate when that happens.

I am so SAD that this show is getting cancelled! I know I've posted this a lot, but I really like it and it's just starting to get really interesting!

Well if that's it for the series, that's a poignant way to go. No reason to resolve all the mysteries of the universe, but at least we know the characters have resolved some peace about the situation.

Completely agree! However, this show has/had so much potential too... I really think NBC is making a mistake.

The journey is coming to an end for NBC's freshman series "Journeyman."

NBC had until Tuesday to give a full-season pickup to the time-travel drama starring KevinMcKidd. The network let that option lapse, practically canceling the 20th Century Fox TV-produced series, which posted its lowest adults 18-49 rating (1.7 rating/8 share) on Monday without a "Heroes" lead-in. The network already tried out "Life" in "Journeyman'"s Monday 10 p.m. slot last week.

I don't get it either. The show has consistently gotten better. I just watched the last episode last night. The last 2 episodes seems to have answered a couple questions.

For instance, nobody is pulling the strings as was suspected. They appear to have been born with the ability. They referred to them as a group of people who are dwindling. Also, Dan's question of if one of them has to die so another can start traveling was never really answered. The scientist guy didn't really reveal to much other then that.

I am so pissed this show is canceled.

Oustanding close to the series and season.

I wish Sci Fi or USA or someone would pick this up. So much potential. I dare say, that was the best episode of the season.

Ya know, I have a big issue with NBC, and I guess with all the big 4 networks for that matter, but the way that NBC pulled the plug on Quantum Leap all those years ago, really fried my bacon, and then FINALLY, we get another show, not nearly as good, but at least based around the same kind of concept, and they pull that plug too?

I think that the big 4 networks get too trigger happy on these shows lately, Sienfeld had horrible ratings its 1st year, as did Cheers, and so many other great shows, Just think how many more could have been monster hits if they just were given the chance
