What we put on the field in September will definitely not look the same by the end of December, but I get what you're saying. The way the last 2 seasons have gone with the 2nd half collapses, I wanna judge them at the end of the year lol. We'll know more about the midway point or even before that if we have injuries in thin areas. I'm worried about the CB spot the most but last season Marco Wilson was a rookie starting #2 CB & we started out 7-0. He has a year under his belt now but lost his spot to Hamilton in camp, now it looks like it's his again. Hopefully Keim can do what he does best & make a trade?

Famous words of Rod Graves before went 3-13. If you’re roster building in September you did a terrible job in March.
I am going to say something right now not many will say or maybe they will. With Frodo Murray getting that big contract, the days of having money to throw out on free agents will soon be a thing of the past for Keim. I would much rather have Graves drafting than Keim for the years ahead with a QB taking up cap space... plus Graves will no longer have ole man Bidwill restricting his monetary use

Since K1, K2 and Keim are all under contract for a while, I'm starting to wonder if the Cardinals' leadership, including Mike B, has agreed that 2022 is something of a rebuilding year. If they win 10 or 11 games, hey great, but if they only win seven, it won't be a big deal as long as they're competitive again in 2023.

It’s gonna be even harder to be competitive next year with cap space and number of players under contract.

A pass rush that’s small, but slow… and a CB room… that as of right now is amongst the worst I can ever remember and ILBs who worry Wolf, the biggest homer of all time.

Let’s see… after Keim, Kliff and Kyler all got massive extensions, I wonder who’s being set up as the sacrificial lamb this season if Bird City flies south for the season?

There’s still some fans that don’t think Keim is by far the biggest problem with this team(really, it’s Bidwill, but he can’t fire himself).

That is hilarious.
I think most know. Its really not arguable. The problem is he just got a 5 year extension and it is what it is. Nothing changing in the near term.

You know that's depressing, right? Well, you're depressing me anyway.

I can tell you this much, I don't have a lot of excitement for the season.

Some will call me a darksider, but I feel like in comparison to previous seasons, there's not a lot of posters who can defend a lot of real upside where we stand today.

Graves never had a 3-13 season.

He had a 4-12 with Jeff Blake at QB. Last I checked we don't have a Jeff Blake.

I have no doubt this is their (idiotic) mindset.

The only one left is Vance Joseph.

Good GMs dont look at the current CB situation in September and thing, "yeah, we good."

How about our front 7? Are their 5 groups worse than ours?

Also, the situation on the DL is also a catastrophe that is only hidden from view by the absolute cataclysm on the outside.

Keim got his extension and got Kliff and Kyler theirs. Then he set about getting Vance Joseph fired. It's hard to imagine moves that he would make differently if he were actively trying to tank.
