USC women's basketball star JuJu Watkins exited a first-round NCAA Tournament matchup against No. 16 UNC Greensboro after twisting her ankle on a drive to the basket in the third quarter.

Watkins could need some attention from the training staff after this game ends. In the second quarter, she hurt her left wrist after a fall and afterward kept massaging it.

Hobbling as she rejoined her teammates after the ankle roll, Watkins promptly buried a 3-pointer. She then exited the game with a trainer before returning to the bench.

Trojans have built a 30-point lead at 45-15 with 2:45 left in the third quarter. Watkins has a game-high 20 points.

This story will be updated as more information becomes avalable.
