Oh...... I thought the ultrasound scene was a bit too much as well....

Absolutely loved the movie! Loved the characters all of them!

However Thats scene was completely over the top I agree 100%!

Finally saw this movie and I loved it. As far as the "teenage movie characters who are constantly flip, with perfect comedic dialog and timing". My teenage son has that role nailed.

Just saw this, really enjoyed it. I found myself laughing out loud multiple times with the dialogue. Most teens don't talk like that, but that's okay cuz Dawson's Creek did the same thing and I still enjoyed it :)

It was good. I think my expectations were a little high, but I still enjoyed it very much.

i just got around to seeing this and really enjoyed it - i also liked the ultrasound scene where the step-mom goes off - right on point

i also like how it wasn't supposed to ring true - this wasn't your everday chick who is a threat to drop out - it's a weird chick who got a little expirimental with her weird friend (despite not being comfortable at all with the idea of sex) and got pregnant - even though she was "off the sex" now

I just watched this over the weekend and I give it a 5/5. I'll probably end up buying a copy and rewatching it a few times.

The scene was a little out of pace for the rest of the movie, but it did a good job of showing the step-mother in a supportive light.

Think about most other movies and the role that the "steps" play in them.

It helped show that her family was different from the conventional model, but still a family at it's core. For those reasons, I thought the scene worked.

The supporting cast was pretty good. The Juno character and/or the actress playing her was way over the top, unrealistic, overdone, and, at times, kinda stupid.

Overall the supporting cast kept me watching. At one point I just started fastforwarding the parts where Juno was going on like a snide 30 year old former stripper.

I loved the Paulie Bleeker character though.

I pretty much agree with your sentiments. It was okay. I didn't fast forward anything, but Juno started to grate on me.
