We really enjoyed it.

FYI: There is a brief scene after the credits finish rolling...

Meh

Not even good Pratt.

Dumb repetitive story.

Even Dino effects seemed a little off.

God this suuuuucked.

And I really liked the last one but the problem with this one was it was pretty much the same exact story as the one before.

People want to make the raptors weapons, big latest and greatest hybrid dinosaur, showdown at the end.

It's the same damn movie!!!!

Pratt mailed this one in. I haven't been this disappointed in a movie since Spectre.

But worse because they don’t actually spend much time in the park so even the dinosaur parts were more limited.

. They even essentially made the same Dino weapon just lighter on t-Rex and heavier on raptor

Damn, I missed that. What was the scene?

I found this one more enjoyable than the last.

Some pterosaurs (AKA pterodactyls) are shown flying around a skyscraper of sorts. Then the camera pans out and you see it is the Eiffel Tower...but not the one in Paris...it pans out further and the Belagio fountains come into view...these flying dinosaurs are perching above the crowded Vegas strip on the replica Eiffel Tower at the Paris Casino and Resort.

Bad form after Vegas shooting, IMHO

Never even gave that a thought. I have no problem with it. I am not for censoring films because of real life events.

This was pretty tame and was intended to show just how far some of the dinos had traveled since their release in Northern California.

Yeah, they could have just cut if off at the Eiffel Tower and let it be that. That said, this movie was boring. It was basically a rehash of The Lost World. The scene with the brachiosaurus was sad though.

I wouldn't think it's a big deal. Didn't even think about it till you said it and even after you did, it really has 0 connection.

This wasn't that great of a movie. Didn't hate it but it was pretty predictable. Meh like Ouchie said.

Blue to save they day, just in the nick of time. Wait, didnt he do that before? :bang:

Completely agree. This sucked.

As in, I've been angry at how bad it sucked.

It was ok. Predictable, but nothing special. I hate Pratt in these movies because he is trying to play straight and he's just not that good at it.

There were a few moments I liked, but I'm tired of the same rehashed plot of these Jurassic World movies. The first one had the hybrid T-Rex, this one the hybrid Raptor.

A part of me is sad that the franchise is pretty much completely off the island now.

I thought the first act of this movie was pretty damn entertaining. Massive park set-piece, super over the top, but fun, exciting, lots of huge screen entertainment... even a somewhat haunting beautiful moment as the ship leaves the island and as the Bronto is engulfed in flames.

But holyyyyyyyy craaaaaaaaaap did the movie suck once it turned into Jurassic Auction. My lord. I mean, people go to those movies to see Dinos either in majestic or terrifying form. Not to see them locked in cages. The last 1:45 of that movie was atrocious... basically just a set-up for a trilogy. They could have made a great popcorn flick if all hell just broke loose when they got back to the mainland and the Dinos let loose. That's the movie everyone really wanted to see... they just made us sit through an entire other movie before we got there.

Freaking lame.

Pretty much agreed with this. However, the funny thing to me is that I preferred the Chris Pratt of the 2nd half of the movie to the 1st half. If you're going to cast Chris Pratt, cast Chris Pratt--don't try to direct him to not be funny. It's just not who he is.

Totally unrelated to the movie but is Chris Pratt this generations Harrison Ford?

No. I love him as an actor, but he has nowhere near the gravitas or ability in serious roles/moments that Ford has. He absolutely nails the comedy and goofy hero notes that Ford had, but otherwise is about half the actor Ford was.

I agree with you guys, I just thought it was interesting as I watched this to hear all the kids reaction. Like I heard 2 or 3 audible "It's Starlord!" from the kids in the audience when he came on screen. It reminded me of when I was a kid everytime Harrison Ford was in a film we were like Hey it's Han Solo and Indiana Jones!

Was just thinking he's the closest to it for these kids in terms of playing two pretty huge roles in blockbuster franchises. Starlord and Jurassic park (although I agree these films have been awful) so I was thinking about the HF parallel instead of watching the absurd second half of the film. haha

Anyways, totally pointless discussion, just a random thought. We were super lucky to have Harrison Ford as kids!
